I am not sure if I can post a link so I will just say to google "sweden uterus transplant" if you want news articles on this. But to sum it up recently they've successfully managed to implant a uterus into someone who previously didn't have one and this woman was able to give birth. It's still in the works but I am hopeful that one day this could be used for transwoman. And with the medical advancements in transplants perhaps us transmen can have some hope to.

Be nice if transmen and transwomen who were compatible could meet up and swap parts! I mean if it was possible to give transmen donor testicles and transwomen donor ovaries, then we could just set up websites dedicated to finding matches and swapping :3 it would be pretty awesome~

That's a great idea. Wat about us non-binary people though.

Living in Sweden I obviously heard about this and thought the same. Ironically the boy that was born was named "Vincent" which also happened to be the name of me and my partner's then newborn son.

Though if they're able to ever apply this to transwomen it will be decades off. Now they know it can work, now they need to figure out how to make a biologically male body support a transplant uterus. It probably can be done but I just hope it will get some funding.

"Healthy transfemale looking for clean and functioning female reproduction system. Testicles up for trade. Left a little bigger than the right but otherwise fine."

Would be so rad if 3D printing advances in the next ten years.

That's pretty cool. Science comes up with so many great advances. It's a shame that some people don't want to fund scientific advancements :frowning2:
