Difference between porn sex and real life sex

I am a huge supporter of adult entertainment and porn (free speech and expression as well). The difference is camera crews, positions, and that it is basically a job meant to entertain people. I do think some people take it too seriously, but honestly porn is about as good for teaching about sex, as Dirty Harry is about teaching police work. I do not blame porn for people's sexual behaviours, I blame lack of proper sexual education and taboos on things that shouldn't be (role play, kink and so forth).

It will also depend on the porn star, the producer, and the company making it.

On that note, I really enjoy Lily Cade (lesbian porn star who shoots most of her own content) and Nina Hartley. Both are critical of their own industry when needed but yet are supportive, sex positive and truthful.

 

And sometimes prostitutes do as well.

A lot of the positions are chosen or modified to show a better view of certain body parts, not because they'd feel better or more comfortable that way. Ever notice in many TV sitcoms (from Golden Girls to How I Met Your Mother) 4 people will sit on the same side of a round table in a kitchen or restaurant so they're all facing the cameras/studio audience (and the set only has 3 walls)? Same concept.

Another one is the timeline. Stuff is edited (in some cases badly, with repeating segments) so what appears like 30 minutes of uninterrupted action probably took more like a few hours, with breaks etc.

Honestly it depends on what kind of porn you watch. Obviously higher end videos tend to come off as fake with their fancy cameras and studio quality sex. At the same time though you can find porn on the internet thats very much real sex in the sense that its just 2 guys fucking at home and they filmed it. Videos like this tend to get stale and repetitive, most of the time since you onlysee it from one angle.... but its really worth it when you find a video you like because it looks and feels more genuine which to me at least is more attractive than a video where you can tell just from looking at it that they filmed it with actors and a crew in some studio. I dunno though for me it pretty much depends on the guys themselves and how natural they can make it look. It also helps to have some actual diversity instead of just going vanilla makeout > blowjob > anal. And both professional and homemade videos are capable of capturing this but its just been my experience that its usually more exciting and believable when its homemade.

Anyway thats just me. Depending on the person real sex may be attractive because its more intimate, or romantic, or any other number of reasons. I personally dont see romantic and sexual attraction as having anything to do with each other hence I can get off to someone I've never met whereas I can also crush on someone I dont nessicarily want to fuck. So that isnt part of it at all for me but for someone else it could have everything to do with it cause in the end everyone has different tastes and thoughts and ways of interpreting feelings of attraction.

People wouldn't have sex if it was the most boring thing ever. It's fun and pleasureable most of the time. I think many people do get bored after a while with the same person, though (you always hear jokes about married couples).

Also, your previous post, I think bad "smells" only really occur if you're doing it wrong. The only thing that may smell is anal sex.... But if the bottom is clean it shouldn't smell.... I guess mistakes happen... But not every time or anal sex would be not worth it.

 

I'm pretty sure "real life" sex has better dialogue.
