Nope. Our state along with the rest of the 6th circuit will be the "heroes" or the goats.

For about a day. Then, the Sixth Circuit stayed the district judge's decision pending appeal. That appeal lead to the Sixth Circuit ruling 2-1 that the ban on same-sex marriage was constitutional. That case was then appealed to the Supreme Court which, today, agreed to hear it, along with three other cases. Unless/until SCOTUS rules in favor of same-sex marriages, Michiganders do not have marriage equality.

The couples married in that window had their marriages invalidated by the state, but a federal judge recently ruled that the marriages performed in that brief window must be recognized.

73% of those that answered the poll said their state has same-sex marriage, and Wikipedia says 70% of Americans live under marriage equality, so the survey looks really accurate right now.

Yep, Maryland. And also, married in Maryland!

I was reading in the NYT that currently, 70% of the US population live in states that do. Hopefully, this will soon be 100%...

Obviously it isn't legal in Texas thanks to a bunch of stubborn bigots.

Something, amazingly, New York didn't screw up on; yes, we have marriage rights.
