    Skillet - Nor Gonna Die

This band has saved my life so many times, and this song is always been closest to my heart.

    Pride and Fall, The Comforter

this is probably the most personal song ever since my bf has literally sung it all to me when I was at my worst.

They are the songs that I quote to myself when everything just gets too hard to handle.

If I were on a desert island and could only take five songs with me:

    Starset, "My Demons"
"Let it go" from Frozen (this song really helped me during my 'coming out' process with my bipolar disorder)
    One Republic, "Secrets"
    Skillet, "Awake and Alive"
    Red, "Let it Burn"

...I think. There are so many good ones...

This because it's a cheery and upbeat song and the message is basically saying do what you feel is right (may contain spoilers for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 5 Duel Destinies)

Battle Scars was on my "play on repeat" list for such a long time, and I still listen to it whenever I feel down.

A River Flows in You makes me cry, I have no idea why. What a beautiful composition.

Over the years there have been a lot of music that has come to mean a lot to me. Mostly a lot of songs particularly Angels and Stand my Ground by Within Temptation.
Going Out Like That by Reba McEntire
Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas
    Awake and Alive by Skillet
A lot of music by Nana Mizuki, Mami Kawada, and UVERworld (Japanese artists)

    Disturbed are great.

I've just found a couple of new (heavy metal) songs that have meaning to me.
They are both by a German band called Caliban.

Scars by IPrevail, especially the music video
IPrevail is the one band I'm...obsessed is a strong word, yet the right word.
Lifelines, also by IPrevail, is another one, but I'll leave Scars here:
