"Falling for the First Time" - Barenaked Ladies. Was basically the soundtrack to my adolescence. And not to be a walking stereotype, but also "Born this Way" - Lady Gaga
Oh yes <3 Impossible Soul is wonderful And the one song that always gets me crying is this one: So. Much. Emotions.
Outta My Head - Fastball I feel and think this way after people have burned bridges with me. No matter how many times it's happened, I end up being too nice to someone new and I end up getting back stabbed. Though, I associate it more with the break up of my second to last girlfriend who did more than just stab me in the back.
Quantic - Meaning, it's a really emotional guitar riff, and the quote at the end suites it perfectly Sometimes a person has to go a very long distance out of his way to come back a short distance correctly
Always puts a smile on my face, makes me realize that everyone has been in a bad situation. FFTL are still my all time favorite band!
Adele's back to back cover of " I Can't Make You Love Me" followed by "Make You Feel My Love" at Royal Albert Hall. Gets me bawling and gasping for air every time, literally rips my heart out because it's her (the girl I've fallen for). It's my love story set perfectly to music.
For me, I'd have to say pretty much everything off of the Outkast album Aquemini. I can't really say why, but all of those songs have really resonated with me for whatever reason.
Menergy by Patrick Cowley...I like to listen to it when my Gayness takes complete control of my brain... https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&v=Lne4izAcT5w
Vienna. Whenever I feel stressed about my lack of accomplishments, I can put this on and feel much better. My metaphorical Vienna will be there.
Hmmm. well some would be Take Me To Church by Hozier because that song has such a strong meaning and wow, its really very relevant. Fat Lip by Sum41 bc who really wants to conform to society? Secrets by Mary Lambert for obvious reasons Clouds and Strong and Happily and really any song from MM and FOUR tbh by One Direction because they're all just really amazing songs and have such meaning behind them. Call me stupid or whatever for liking them but really their new music has a lot of depth and really shows HL and their struggle against the closet they're stuck in. It's really important to me and means a lot that they still write about their feelings for one another even though they cant let others now ect. Radio Friendly Pop Song by Matt Fishel bc once again it shows the representation of the media and forced closeting. ANYWAYS those are a few stuck in my head recently that have meaning to them... as you can see its a pretty queer/LGBT promoting list aha.. I have a long list but these are just recent ones/ones that stay stuck that I can think of at the moment.. also dont want to make the list a million pages long aha.
Paradise - Coldplay means a lot to me. It reminds me of my neice, her mother passed away. Now she's always looking for something in life. I hope she finds true happiness.
Where is my mind by the Pixies..... It always reminds me of all the bad I've done all the money I stole, all the court costs and hospital stays all the agony I put my friends and family through......i use to love this song now I use it to remind me of how Bad it was how low I went to chase my buzz how I had no regard for anything but my next fix....it reminds me to stay clean
Walking in Memphis - Cher. Makes me feel really good. Right Here Waiting for You - Richard Marx. Has been in tears in seconds.
Literally anything from Hayley Kiyoko's Citrine album (Gravel to Tempo being my fav) and Ariana Grande's Into You (because it has memories)
