So, I live in the suburbs of NYC and I'm probably going to come out soon, but definitely by June. Pride is around my birthday so it would be amazing for me to go. Just a few basic questions: What's it like for a teenager? What exactly is there to do? Will my straight friends feel comfortable? (They are open-minded) Just give me the run down on it. It is now a 3 day event. There is the ladies dance, the dance on the pier, the main parade. Search for Hertiage of Pride - that's the official group that runs NYC's pride. Not sure about teen events but everyone always has fun at the parade.
