France is generally considered friendly. Spain, from experience (at least in the Basque part), is also friendly. Luxembourg is friendly as well, and the prime minister is gay.

I'd say the Nordic countries and Canada take 5/10 of the top 10 places. The USA may possibly be in the top 25 somewhere, although it depends what state.

I live in one of it's neighouring countries and i've been there a couple of times.
People there are more aware that homosexuality exists because of the same sex marriage laws and things like that. When it comes to general acceptance, that country is as traditional as most African Countries (it's black majority, anyway....the president has 6 wives). I would say it's better than most African countries but certainly not one of the best in the world
