This will date (carbon-date?) me terribly, but here goes:

Yes, the Beatles were that big (1965)

But my favourite definitely has to be Bugs Bunny:

Looney Tunes! Bugs, Daffy and Wile E... whats not to love!? The failure of ACME products alone is a thousand laughs! Will Wile E Coyote ever catch the Road Runner!? Unlikely... he's been trying for nearly a century with no luck!

Bugs conducting is hilarious... likely you've seen his Barber of Seville and rehearsing with Pavarotti!? Good stuff!

Oh, they are likely not as funny today as so much of the "violence" was cut out.

    Anyhoo, bee-beep...

I was just talking about this series in the Favourite Villains thread the other day actually: The Animals of Farthing Wood.

    Other contenders include:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - I had a dark blue TMNT lunch box, which I kept long after they ceased to be popular, and long after the other children had given up asking me why a girl had a boy's lunch box.

Beetlejuice - My first cartoon crush.

    Popples. - Anyone remember these?

    Rocko's Modern Life.

    Ren and Stimpy.

Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds - My SECOND cartoon crush.

    Animaniacs.

    Rugrats.

    Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.

    The Simpsons.

    Spiderman.

    Batman.

    Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.

"Sometime around the mid 80s, cartoons started getting better. The Disney Afternoon sort of heralded the point when they were finally worth watching again. Talespin was my favorite...well, at least until Gargoyles debuted."
I thought those were the early 90's ?...anyway now that you jogged my memory I remember the Disney afternoons. I watched them after school, but my favorite was Darkwing Duck, but my favorite was the Animaniacs that came on before school.

  11. I loved Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, Veggietales, The Powerpuff Girls, The Winx Club, Holly Hobbie, Polly Pocket, Bratz, and probably some others when I was a little kid - But especially Strawberry Shortcake and the Barbie movies <3 I still kind of love them actually

Teenage mutant hero turtles. The cartoon got a name change in England because our government didn't want to use the word ninja

Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Spongebob, Rocket Power.. basically all of the ones Nickelodeon had back in the 90s. As for Disney, definitely Recess. That's the only Disney cartoon I can remember watching as a kid. The others I watched once I got older. Also Pokemon and Digimon (though I don't think Digimon aired in the 90s?).

I remember this show a lot because I used to think while I was a kid that it is for some reason not suitable for kids :icon_wink
I watched it in Arabic so I don't know the title in English but if you recognized the picture tell me the title

My absolute favorite was the original Scooby Doo series. I also really liked Avatar: The Last Airbender, Kim Possible, The PowerPuff Girls, Recess, SpongeBob, Hey Arnold, Lilo and Stitch, Road Rovers, American Dragon: Jake Long, and Danny Phantom. And I know there's more.

Samurai Pizza Cats. One of the few cartoons that really made me laugh.

Other than that, The Pink Panter. The only thing I hated from it was that the panter was... Yeah, the wrong colour, but anyways I never had enough from The Pink Panter...

As a kid I was a big cartoon love, but even now as an adult I still love them just as much. I kinda refuse to grow-up. I really liked a lot of the Disney cartoon's from the early 80's and 90's, such as Gummi Bears, Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers, and TaleSpin. I also really enjoyed the original Nicktoons. Rugrats and Rocko's Modern Life being my two favorites.

To this very day TaleSpin is my all time favorite cartoon.

Yes, I did watch Popples a bit. I actually own two of the VHS tapes and one of the stuffed Popples.

I loved most cartoons from the late 90s and early 2000. Especially some of Disney's series like darkwing duck, little mermaid, Aladdin and such. But I also watched some of my older brother's vhs, like popples, my little pony, bikermice from mars and many more.
    Can't choose a favorite!
