Ever since I was 13 I've always had my own personal look. I had a similar resemblance to popular trends, the scenester/punk/gothic look. I used to ALWAYS wear black: black skinny jeans, biker jacket, black band T's. I pretty much looked like my picture every day... I was a skinny jeaned slick haired little rocker lol. Nowadays I have more of a hipster/boheme look. I've always dressed simply by what I felt comfortable in, basically second skin. How did you guys look then compared to how you look now?
I used to dress quite 'mainstream' and wear what everyone else wore. Now I just stick to my band tee's and skinny jeans and I want to buy some cute hoodies.
I used to be a tiny bit less picky about clothing and mostly dressed like other girls my age. Nowadays I mostly wear clothes that are really comfy, but as my mom puts it, "have no personality". Mostly sweatpants, faded jeans, solid color t-shirts, etc.
I was more feminine in dressing, last year I was Gothic Lolita. And if earlier, I used to be Decora from 12-13 years old. Before that, I was (kind of poor) gothic again when I was 11... I now have my own unique style, influenced by old-school Visual Kei, and a touch of deathrock and Japanese glam. It's kind of a mixing of alternative fashion styles that were popular in the 80's and 90's Japan. But unfortunately, I am not able to wear this style outside for reasons of passing... When out, I wear a black or red button down shirt, and black pants. I still manage to be stared at. And sometimes I also wear the rocker look Gabby29 mentioned haha
I used to look like my mum had dressed me: cute top, straight blue jeans, and trainers. Now I have a bit more of a masculine look: plaid shirt, skinny jeans, and converse. My mum's still a bit suspicious of the tie I like to wear from time to time, but hopefully she'll come round!
I've always been partial to gothic and punk trends. Still am, though I don't dress up as much as I used to. I used to wear black dresses and tights every day, ahahaha... Now I tend to wear guys black skinny jeans, t-shirts, button-up shirts, cardigans... all slim-fit. I hate wearing baggy clothes. Black on black is still my favorite look (any the only color I think it's ok to wear from head to toe), but I'm not afraid of color. I guess a lot of people read me as hipster?? They keep suggesting it.
I used to be a bit more preppy in high school. I always wore khakis, polo shirts, even the preppy scarf. I looked like I was always ready for the golf course. Now, I wear skinny jeans and wear more "hipster" type clothing, but overall my look still has that preppy edge. That's just the look that I find the most attractive. My "style" can be a bit contradictory sometimes, but I don't adhere to any particular trend.
Well, when I actually give enough of a damn to not wear sweatpants, I'm going for the general goth look. On days where I feel more masculine, I'll wear my Tripp jeans, spiked bracelets and boots covering pants. On more feminine days, I'll wear either a dress or skirt with long socks and cute shoes in addition to feminine accessories like ribbons, bows, and lace.
I hate to think of my past styles  Now in winter: -Either normal fitting/slightly baggy jeans or fitted cords with a plaid shirt. When I'm not wearing plaid I wear hoodies. Summer: -Last few summers I wore polos and cargo or plaid shorts. I think I'll wear more tee shirts and less polos and less plaid shorts this upcoming summer
Uh I went from t shirts and shorts. To tshirts, jeans, hoodies and sneakers so not much has changed honestly xD
I can't actually fit any clothes that I would like to wear, nor can I afford them, so I usually wear what my mom calls "guy" clothes. I would love to wear a full on suit and tie but I'm too short to wear any "mens" clothes so...yeah. The struggles of being 5'0"
Growing up, I'd mostly dress in either khakis and polos or oxfords. Then I went through a jeans and cowboy boots phase (well, not really a phase because I still wear them and it is Texas, but I would wear that daily). Now, I'm basically back at the original "preppy" style of chino shorts and pants with polos or oxford shirts.
Hehe, thanks! It's my attempt at Loli style without actually having the money to get lolita dresses. :U
