Exactly! Has it never occurred to them that they could be bisexual? It could be denial, sure. But there are plenty of people out there (like the guy who said he's attracted to his wife and other men) who just don't care about a person's gender.

They like bi erasure because it makes it look like gays and lesbians can change . If they acknowledge that some people are bisexual it makes their hate and points that gays can turn straight invalid .
That's why some people love bi erasure .

If they really want to marry a female, then why not marry a transgender man(ftm)? Sure he may look female(pre transition) but at least they're not repressing their homosexual feelings cause they're still marrying a guy(even though he has no penis). Problem solved.
    Unless they're bisexual. That's a different story.

    Umm... No.

Transmen are men, not women. Dating and marrying a transmen would mean that they would be in a gay relationship.

As a gay guy who has also found himself attracted to some transmen (all of whom have unfortunately identified as straight), this type of thinking is something that really bothers me. I am totally open to dating a guy who is trans, and the last thing that I want is someone thinking that I am straight because of what my boyfriend happens to have in his pants. It would be offensive to him (mis-gendering him) and offensive to me (by mis-gendering him I would be mis-labeled).

This comic captures my feelings on the matter perfectly, and it is insanely funny as well.

Future shows that are just as crazy:

My husband is not black, my husband is not bald, my husband is not short

Just as plainly as anyone could see the dude is black, bald, or short it's equally obvious that these guys aren't straight.

When I want some TLC I think 'tender loving care', not 'the learning channel' which I hereby dub 'the loony channel'.

They give a whole new meaning to the term, 'denial'. God help us, so to speak.

"My husband's attraction to guys is just a test...sure he sneaks off to gay bars and saunas and has sex with other men, but hey that doesn't make him gay or bi...no...and sure, he gets more aroused by guys than by me, but hey, with enough prayer we can put it right...he's not gay, really..." (I made all that up, but really I found the rationalizations in the video to be quite silly. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck lol.).

I think some of the guys in the video are Bi, but too stupid to realize that is a thing.

It reminds me of the gay Mormon site. When I told the missionaries that came to my door that I was a lesbian, they returned with a pamphlet that had something about its OK to be gay as long as you don't act on it and live single/celibate lives or lie and go hetero.

Isn't lying a sin so why is lying okay when someone is gay,and it's no longer considered a sin in this case:confused:.

That is cruel. I know they are brainwashed etc, but that's cruel.

I also find it immensely hypocritical when religious organizations will protect child abusers in their own ranks (who cause immense harm), whilst vilifying folks who have same-sex attraction (who cause no harm). They really do manage to turn the truth upside down. Just one other reason I have dumped all organized religion.

This is a site they told me to check out. Even though I think religion is a load of crap, or at very least misguided people that corrupted something good, I always keep my promise and check things out. I am pretty convinced I will stay an atheist, but I still keep my word in investigating anyone that talks to me about faith/religion.

    Its actually pretty sad...
