    British:
    - I am very pissed off with the rest of the world
    - I am very awkward with strangers (perhaps even standoffish)
    - I'm quite posh (that's what the woman in the Italy in Epcot told me anyway)
    - I complain about the weather frequently

    But:
I don't like tea and I don't really care about football

So I'm kind of sort of a bit British I guess :')

I respect women and love them (I'm gay BTW)
I wear colorful clothes and my walk is more effeminate unlike all the guys around
I hate violence And I never get in a fight with someone which is part of being a man here
I don't smoke unlike guys around me who started smoking ever since 10!
I speak in a high pitch calm voice unlike the aggressive -100 pitch
If the guy doesn't have a rough voice he might be advised to smoke a friend of mine did
I don't like beards guys are jealous that my beard growed for me long time ago lately I shave it all most don't do this
Everyone is obbessed of the thought of being manly and would do anything to prove that they are real men smoke drink etc..though idk what those has to do with being a man
So no I'm nothing like how all guys here are

I say "eh" a lot and love poutine. I'm not into hockey (didn't know Wayne Gretsky was Canadian for the longest time). But I do cheer for my fellow Canucks during the Olympics.

I don't know how many American stereotypes I do fit. I mean I like to eat fast food a lot, and I'm ignorant to some cultures, but unlike others I'm willing to learn.

I don't fit most of the others; I don't think America is better than other countries, I hate guns, I think violence is more inappropriate to show kids compared to nudity, etc.

Hrm...? excuse me. How is capitalism better than socialism, I guess if you like seeing people die so you can make more money. Yeah... No thank you. I'm quite happy with the Swedish way. Even though I think we are too far left in terms of economy. I still think healthcare, school and a "breadline" is a must for everyone. Nobody should have to die because they can't afford healthcare or doesn't have a roof over their heads in a developed country like the U.S. And every child should have enough money to go to school and get higher education.

I'm not saying socialism is the solution to everything because it's not, and I do believe in a free market and fair taxes, but I also believe there are things we can't sacrifice for lower taxes.

And pro gun.? oh please. don't get me started. :rolle:

Underlined strawman argument aside, I share your sentiments, and even admire your country for a lot of things. It's the authoritarian pursuit of that even distribution I think is less than desirable. Ultimately it's only scarcity itself I dislike though. The laissez-faire economy I imagine is less than ideal because people abuse it and get filthy rich while other people starve. And for the record I'm much closer to starvation than gold-plated toilets

My gun opinions are probably for another thread though, whenever it comes around again.

County: I live in a very blue collar area that isn't highly educated for the most part. I have worked in service jobs and have a college education. I drive a GM vehicle which is common. I lean Republican if forced to pick between the two, but I live in a very blue area. Although, it is a blue area, they are quite unfriendly to LGBT rights and am a big advocate of our rights.

Country: Yes, we are stereotyped as fat. I am overweight. We are seen as vain, and I am obsessed with clothes. We are nationalistic, and I am very patriotic. Our country cares about free speech and gun rights, so do I even though I do not carry or own a gun myself. We eat a lot of fast food, check... People consider us uneducated, but I am college educated. I support the capitalist system.

Basically zero. I hate all sports especially football, skinny as a twig, I'm definitely not a flaming heterosexual, a gun toter or a bible thumper. I don't even really agree with democracy. I don't belive violence is the answer to every problem, and I don't eat any meat fast food.

    German stereotypes I fit:
    - Germans love rules, organisation and structures (I'm pretty chaotic to be honest, but I like to have a schedule and like to know what's going to happen...)
    - apparently it's a stereotype that we like sausage (no double entendre intended...)
    - I do have a building loan contract...
    - Germans are reserved
    - I like bread
    - I like beer
    - I eat pretzels, bratwurst, sauerkraut, schnitzel and stuff...
    - I like long words

    But:
    - I'm not punctual (I hate being unpunctual but I end up being late more often than not anyways... But I am punctual for class or when I have an important appointment...)
    - I'm not blonde and blue-eyed (and I'm not a Nazi...)
    - I don't love soccer/football
    - I've never been to the Oktoberfest
    - I don't wear or even own a dirndl or a pair of lederhosen
    - I never reserved a sun lounger with a towel first thing in the morning...
    - I don't wear socks with sandals

well...it depends what country stereotypes you .

in my case (bulgaria), according to the western european stereotypes i gotta be 'evil vampire gypsy' - but according to russia i must be: 'sexy strong masculine putin-like leader'...so take your pick.

I'd like to say i do "fit it" in some sort of typical example, but never thought about it actually...and frankly: don't care much .

I fit the fat, lazy, entitled American stereotype, but not the fit, athletic, pot-smoking Colorado stereotype.

I've actually heard a lot of foreign friends say that Americans are overly polite. I've never heard rude (the exceptions being the ones that most Americans think are rude).

From what my friends say I don't act very American. I'm liberal even for the rest of the world. I don't really believe in patriotism or a sense of duty to anything more than your community. I do think that the government is responsible for the well being of it's people. I don't watch TV or news, though I stay informed on world events. I tend to look at everything critically regardless of my bias.

In the area where I live you're crazy if you don't eat fish. I don't eat fish.
