What do/did you call your grandparents?

My dad's parents are/were Mom-mom and Gramps, and my mom's parents were Oma and Opa.

I would like to continue the tradition of the name Oma. My grandmother was Oma and my mom is called Oma to my nephew, so I think it would be nice to keep it going.

My maternal grandma didn't want to be called grammie or gamma or anything, and Grandma Simons reminded her of her grandma so we just call her Grandma Shirley. That stuck, so we just call all our grandparents by grandma/grandpa and then their first name.

My maternal side was/would have been Grandma and Grandpa (my grandfather died almost 15 years before I was born).

My paternal side is/was Nana and Papa (my Papa died about...5 years ago?).

I don't know what I would like to be called...? Anything works I guess.

Oma. I only have one grandparent.

I think I'd just like to be called grandma when it comes to that point in my life...

Both of my grandfathers I call Grandpa. My late maternal grandmother I called Grandmama because for whatever reason, that's what I called her when I was little and it stuck throughout my early childhood <3 . I call my paternal grandmother Farmor, because that's the Swedish word for grandmother. It literally translates to 'father's mother.'

We called them grandma and grandpa. I would probably prefer the same, not something I have really thought about.

    Oma and Opa.
We have additional nicknames for them when we talk about them, so we know which part of the family we're talking about. ^^
