I've always had a bunch of things I wish I knew how to do, but I never really saw the point of learning them. Lately all these things I wanted to learn have started rising to the surface again and the desire to learn them is stronger than ever before. I can actually picture myself doing these things in the future, whereas I could never see that before.

Long story short, I'm looking for a piano.

many electronic keyboards can be set for piano, and are much cheaper than a full piano.

If I actually had room for an acoustic piano, it would've been a lot easier since a lot of people are just giving them away if you come get it yourself. I need an electronic piano, but then I have to find one that's not too expensive and doesn't sound like rubbish. It also annoys me that they usually don't have all 88 keys.

A few days ago I was in a study room with three classmates (2 male and 1 female). One of the guys turned to the female classmate and said, "you're the only girl in here." I was there too and, having been subconsciously glossed over as being a girl, felt good. He was of course promptly "corrected" by a different guy and apologized and all that. But still.

I was just approved for gender inclusive housing at the college I have been applying to! If I can afford to attend, this means I will get to live in a safe place near other trans* students. Wow. God please make this work.

omg, I totally get what you're saying. The same has been happening for me, but with Skateboarding instead of piano.
When I turned 10 I got a hotwheels skateboard(real kid size board with hotwheels themed deck) but never got super into using it because I lived on a dirt road, and still do.
I have looked up nearby skateparks recently too.

My best friend and I are getting organised so we can go to the principal at our school and talk about starting an LGBT+ club in the school. We've already gone to our year head and he thought it was a great idea so we're off to a good start! The two of us actually sat down and made a list of stuff we could do.

It's Pride Week at the University! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:ride:
There's a big LGBT flag hanging on the front desk as soon as you walk in, it's awesome!

That sounds amazing! I'm sure a lot of lgbt+ people at your school will be very glad that they'll have a place to turn to. Great that your headmaster supports the idea.

    ----

I went out with some (male) friends yesterday and found out that if I am with guys only I get read as a male pretty often  We went to a pub and the waiter kept referring to us as "boys". That happened the last time as well

A classmate of mine called me "bro", "dude" and "son" today. He says that to a few people amab or not, but he usually only says "son" towards amab people. The funny thing is he's actually younger than me, but it's all in good fun, and it felt pretty good too.

    A couple of things....
    1) My hair has finally grown back enough to actually lay down <YEA>... Considering I started from 100% bald (shaved) in Dec, due to my DBS surgery.... look it up... LOL.. my hair is now almost 1/2in long.... WOOT
    and
    2) wife and I went to dinner a couple weeks ago, and when the waiter came to take our order? his exact words were; "Good evening ladies, will this be on separate checks??" I said no, one check will be fine, all the while inside I was jumping for JOY!!!

I came out to a guy in my class - sort of a friend I suppose - as nonbinary. He'd been arguing with my friend about how there's only two genders and sexes and I jumped in with my standard "have you heard of intersex people?" that I use when I hear the whole "there's only two sexes" argument. He was being an ass about there only being two genders and "blah blah blah I'm not a girl" just came out. He was a lot less of an ass then but I got asked what was between my legs for the first time (a bit of a milestone) so I looked down and said "the floor".

By the way I knew he was sort of an idiot before this and I know some people would say it was stupid to come out to someone who was blatantly saying I didn't exist but most people in my year know anyway and he's not so bad really.

I was practicing my flag yesterday and two little boys ran up to me to tell me that they think I'm a Cool guy and my flag is awesome. It really made my day.

I also came out to my mom the other day? And it went well? So that's kind of a Noice victory.

Someone finally wasn't sure whether I was male or female. I usually always get he/him'ed, but today a lady finally said, "let me help this young ma... wom..." and just stopped.
