I don't know how that's wrong? Sounds like a success to me. Funny that they picture you as a dude who smokes. Guess it's the death metal look you have. Assume you smoke huh. Like I said, one of the bros.

I suppose my style could give off that impression hahah. But I don't smoke so that dude had to bum off of someone else. It's nice to be like one of the bros. Just don't want to be one of those lung cancer bros lol.

My hair has stopped falling out when I scratch my head. Only like one hair came out. Normally it was like a dozen until recently.

is it that they were falling out or breaking off? since ive grown my hair out, and my son has too, I see a lot more hair about. we thought they were falling out but I looked at a bunch under a magnifying glass and no root, just broken ends. could be what you're experiencing? maybe your hair is getting stronger with HRT?

My French teacher (who probably thinks I'm a trans guy since I use the male form of words in French and said I do in English too) asked me what pronouns to use at the Parent-Teacher meeting this evening because she didn't want to misgender me - while at the same time not outing me. That's actually one of the first times I've been asked about my pronouns and it felt nice for them not to be assumed to be she.

Been trying not to use the toilets at work much, but today I used the men's twice and didn't get looked at the first time. I think the tie helped.

I still have yet to attempt this anywhere. I've used a public restroom once since starting T, the women's of course. A lady walked in while I was washing my hands and immediately walked out thinking she was in the wrong one. This has happened before many times, but now I legit don't feel like I should be in there. Still, avoiding liquids in public seems easier than using the men's room! But I will try at some point.

I sometimes use the men's room. Feels much more better when I really need to use it compared to any time I have used the womens, since I too have gotten those same reactions. hahaha. Either the chick would think she was using the wrong room or I'd be called a pervert/looked at weird :/ It's why I normally try to avoid using public bathrooms unless I really need to use one. I probably should always just use the men's room now. And Kal, that's great you didn't get looked at! That must have felt great.

I know it's a double edged sword but when other (trans) people tell me they are jealous I pass so well or am just beautiful from cis people... I have a narcissistic swelling of pride and validation. I never got told this growing up and I know my youthful appearance won't last long, but I'll be damned if I can't say "I used to be a youthful beauty when I was younger"...

y'all do realize this is a clinic in the UK?

im seeing a dermatologist next month about my MPB and i'll ask about things like finatriatide and Platelet rich blood therapy. my family doctor suggested the PRB therapy, so hopefully between the two I can get it all back.

Men give a shit less than women because women treat the toilet as sacred ground. So even if I do get a look, blokes don't give a crap.

When I go in for hormones, I'll be asking about treatments for my easily hide-able, way less of a deal than I think it is hairline.... lol
