I was dressed as Loki yesterday and my friends said that I looked like a guy. I was binding all day and I felt incredible - still not brave enough to go into the men's bathroom though. I also "married" my friend and she was cold so we cuddled to keep warm for ages and I really felt like her boyfriend.

I just noticed I read all my posts in a female voice. A very generic one, but female non the less.

I actually still wish I was 5'9" or a bit taller. I've always admired taller girls, between my height and about 5'10/11". One I've the reasons I love T-Swift so much!

And I can't imagine ever wearing more than a 4" heel, that seems terribly impractical and uncomfortable.

I told my doctor about my hives on my fourth shot and she said it probably wasn't the testosterone and gave me a new prescription for the same stuff, plus two refills. Not only that, but I got smaller needles this time, and I downloaded this prescription discount app and paid only $17 instead of last month's $60!

So I did my shot this morning and have had no reaction so far! And my voice seems to have practically dropped into the alto range already after listening to voice clips.

I'm sharing our spare room with my granny which has an en suite and she was out this evening so I wandered round shirtless for a bit. I never realised that's something that I wanted to do until I did it.

Finally got my driving licence back from the DVLA, all the paperwork went through fine, and I realised that I've got nothing in my wallet with my old name on it now. It's the small things that keep you going.

I tried to apply for insurance on healthcare.gov, and they told me they can't let me because I MAY be eligible for Medicaide! Medicaide(in PA) covers any part of transition deemed medically necessary by WPATH standards!

I'm looking for a therapist already. I won't be able to do anything until next fall anyway, when I move a few hours away for school(if all goes according to plan). That's enough time to get written off/make a final decision on whether or not it's right for me.

    Okay, so possible HUGE victory....

Spending time with people I care about. I've been balancing this a lot better recently. Plus I am on new pills that make me really happy but they do have some side effects.

I have my preferred name in a few of my social media accounts subtly, and when I walked into one of my classes, what it sounded like one of my friends said was, 'Hey, Kade." But then they used my given name after that.
I could have just not heard them at the moment, but I swear they said "Kade".

Body related dysphoria seems very light today. Still social dysphoria, but not terribly bad. I still feel the disconnect with being male in general, but I don't expect that to go away until I'm not.

In other words, I'm having a pretty damn good day.

I'm glad the hives weren't from the T and also about the voice!

My thing is today a friend told me she always loved how I always pulled off "alternative girl 90s style" and it really made my day. Also I found some old pics of me from about 10 years ago and I have to say I was cute as hell.
