The other week I wore jeans, jacket, and shirt that were all brought from the women's sections of stores on a night out. Oh, and some eyeliner.

Granted, everyone still saw me as a guy but it counts, right?

I think I finally found my name! Since my birth name is Jenna, I wanted my trans name to also start with a J. After a while of not finding any names that fit (John was a good name but i have a brother and uncle with the same name so i didnt want there to be 3 Johns in our family ) I finally found one not from a name site or anything like that, but from one of my most favorite video game characters; his name was Jamison!

It's a nice, charming and gentlmen-y name that can also be shortened into 'James' or 'Jamie' with friends and family. One problem I had though was if my family didn't like it, but my ma and sis liked the name a lot; and it turned out that my ma heard that name in the grocery store earlier and thought it was a very nice name for me, and she was planning to suggest the name to me!

i finally changed my profile information on another platform that I've been on for years. I took down all of my male pictures, and anything that ID'ed me as male. I replaced my profile, and edited all of my settings.

When I had screwed up the nerve, I clicked submit. A little window popped up and said "Are you sure you want to save your changes?" Yes I was. *click*

I'm writing a letter to my mum... I've already typed it on screen, I just need to put it on paper and leave it somewhere, so it can be found.

There won't be gender disclosures for now, I'll just let her know that I'm afraid to speak to her, wishing we could be closer... and I might come out as trans in a future letter, I hope.
I write this down, here, so I can have the courage.

This isn't exactly small (cause hormones are big and all) but I'm so happy. I have some pretty thick belly hair coming in and I can't stop looking at it.

    I bet it hasn't been easy!
I'm thinking to some profiles I have, sometimes it can be tempting to disappear instead...

I ended up losing a few friends, but that's ok. But, the overwhelming response has been apathy...

Depending on which type of platform, maybe some people felt good for you but they didn't know what to say, or how. I mean, deleting a friendship from a list is much easier that sending a message of support

My mum agreed to start calling me using female pronouns. (Background: I asked her if she would try for a few months and that it was very hurtful when she used male pronouns, however that I understand no one's perfect and it might take time to adjust. She agreed to try to use them  )

My mom likes my new name! =D She's not gonna use it but...she likes it. Also, she's been...using my gender-neutral nickname instead of my pronouns? Eh, it's progress, I guess. Hopefully she'll eventually accept me as a boy...

I had a meeting with the school directors to discuss my transitioning and all that kind of stuff and they were SO positive about it, I'm so grateful! I told them I wasn't comfortable enough to use the guys bathroom so now they're changing all the staff toilets to unisex toilets so that everyone can use them!!! They are being so protective and supportive its like the coolest thing ever XD
