My friend appears to be the only one who's really trying to be trying to correct pronouns and language. Like he'd say "You go girl." and then say "Oops... I mean, boy? It's boy, right?" "Yeah." "Okay good."

I think it's just super adorable. It's the effort and thought that counts. I wish my other friends would try to do the same, but hey, having one friend trying is better than none

I don't know if this is considered a victory but...
I am now comfortable with the fact that I am trans. A day doesn't go by when I don't have the thought of "when I transition". It is no longer a matter of if but when. Add that that my birthday loams ever closer (Jan 8th) and I am finding it terrifying to think of people wishing me happy birthday using titles such as daughter and niece. What I am considering my victory is that I plan to come out via a Facebook post on New Year. It will be a post outlining my plans for the next five years, including topics of finding a job and resuming school, as well as being trans and transitioning.
Not sure if others view this as a victory but I do.

Oh it totally is. Coming out is possibly the biggest victory there is.

    A little update on this
The reason I was going to do it on Facebook was because I have this one aunt I fear telling, her opinion means a lot to me.
Well my mom when out to go shopping with her the other day, and my aunt asked her what was up with me. I'm assuming she meant my hair cut among other things. So my mom told her about me believing I am transgender. My mom said that my aunt said she's still love me no matter what.
Still planing to make a coming out post for New Years, so that I might explain better what it means to be trans and such things

Went on an errand run with my older brother. He likes kids so he engaged this little dude while we were waiting in line, and the kid ended up pointing at me and going, "I have a cool brother too!"
Thanks, kid  (Also thanks bro for being chill about it and not "correcting" him, lol.)

As I'm beginning to find peace in my gender identity, I started wearing makeup, and my stepmum said 'are you becoming a girl?', and she meant well, and it meant to me that she sees me as a guy. That's great!
Today my grandma also said 'you are one handsome guy!'

I noticed that one of my supervisors always refers to me as female. "She's gunna do this." "I need her to help me over here." It's wonderful~ Most people still stumble, but this girl has got it down xD
