So, it looks like I'm going to have loads of time to myself this weekend, so I'll get to wear whatever I like, maybe even experiment with makeup. I've been waiting for an opportunity like this.

This really is a very small thing, but I was able to get in a fairly decent workout today. I used to only do treadmill and running, but more recently I've definitely tried to build up the muscles in the upper body. I'm definitely not the most dedicated fitness person around, but I feel good that I did a pretty intense workout. It's more motivating exercising when you actually have some clear goals in mind of how you want to look.

I passed! I don't know who it was but they made me happy ^_^

(Also I have a girlfriend! She knows about my gender and is so amazingly supportive! I know it's not really gender related but I figured it's still a victory as dating is kinda hard when your gender switches and stuff)

I just got back from meeting with my school counselor and they are going to try to change the school's forms to have a place to put your preferred name. Apparently that's never been an issue here before. Glad I'll be making some positive changes. (!) I'm also out to a lot more people now and 100% have been supportive. On an interesting side note, my physics lab partner, (who I barely know and don't talk to outside of class) was super surprised (and possibly offended?) that I didn't tell her earlier.
My other victory isn't really related, but I'm now officially taking just technical theater courses (well, next semester) and all my finances are taken care of, so I'm having my first amazing day in the last 5 years. :eusa_danc

Okay... so this might sound weird but, my parents, since I was little have called me "Boychild" and tonight my Mom was at my place and when I came in she cheered "Girlchild!" at me, I had the biggest smile, and after the day I was having I really needed that...

Having male older siblings is so convenient. I usually receive hand-me-down shirts, but today I got my first pair of basketball shorts!

    Yay!

Anyways, I wasn't able to bind for several days because I had to take a break (chest pains and I wasn't feeling too well in general). But now I'm able to again and it felt great to even just bind (and pack) at home yesterday. I'm going out later today actually and being able to bind again is a relief.

For me this is a pretty big victory... my 6yo daughter referred to me as "her mother" for the first time... so instead of her dad i'm now one of her mothers. Felt so good to hear her say that...

So I was at macys and the cashier there called her supervisor about a credit issue I had with returning something. She called me he but quickly corrected herself.

Yea my voice is my biggest giveaway about being DMAB but the fact she corrected it is a good sign that times are changing and at least one person out there is wise to gender identity.

I came out to my cousin today, it started off really really badly but once he stopped trying to persuade me that I should put off everything for years for the sake of my family things improved and it ended on a more positive note with him being mostly accepting... It was a step forward but it took so much out of me.
