I just gave the legal documents I needed to the government last monday. Now, they'll be working to change my legal gender marker, finally! All that without having had a hysto, might I add.

I didn't peg you for a woman who dressed in that kind of style, Kasey.

My mom asked me if I was trans and I told her I was
We are very close and she is so supportive of me, it feels surreal. Isn't it weird how mothers seem to have a 6th sense? She said that she knew for over a year that I was.

I'm so happy for you Cody (*hug*) I can't believe she knew for so long but I'm so glad that she supports you. Hope it all goes just as well from here on out!

And no matter what, you have all our support.

Not all parents are. My mom is the most resistant person that I've come out to.

Glad you had a better response than I did.

I finally convinced my mother to buy me some unisex shoes. Now my feet won't scream "IT LOOKS LIKE THEY DREW PINK HIGHLIGHTER ALL OVER OUR FEET" everywhere I walk.

This is not an outward victory, but recently I have been learning to allow myself to feel dysphoric. Normally I would say things to my self like "Im just overreacting" or "im such a baby". Im really proud that I am starting to accept the fact that I'm not cis.

Today I received my confirmation of referral to one of Sweden's gender investigation team. I feel like I'm in good hands considering that they ended the letter by apologizing if the letter stated my name as something I no longer go with as they have to go by the registry; it shows that they know what they're doing.

Bad news is that it says it will take 4-6 months before I'll get called in for a meeting.

I suppose that the only benefit of the US Healthcare system is that if you have it is no 6 month wait.

Anyways glad to hear you're making progress.

This is the most important victory, acceptance of yourself.

i've sort of kept my female purchases private from my son, he totally accepts me as bi gender but, i always sort of just didn't allow myself to get anything while he was with me, and just tossed it in my room when he wasnt looking. but we were at Walmart the other day and i saw these cute leggings and even though he was there i put them in the cart and when we got to the checkout he took them out of the cart and put them on the belt without any hesitation that i could see. just a small victory for some but it was pretty big to me. BTW they fit perfectly.
