Do you enjoy Youtube Gaming Channels?

Discussion in 'Entertainment and Technology' started by twospiritlycan, Dec 10, 2014.

  1. Do you enjoy watching other gamers posting gaming videos on Youtube? Some of them can be entertaining to watch, and usually people watch them for their personalities and see how they react to certain situations in game that they've played.

I usually watch Markiplier and Captainsparklez most of the time now. Markiplier can get out of hand sometimes, but some of his stuff can be enjoyable. Lately, however, I've been watching Captainsparklez quite a lot, especially his point of view in the Mianite season one series. Mianite is a Minecraft series where anything can and will happen, especially terrible things. Basically, all the youtubers are split up into three different groups that worship three separate deities. It's actually fun to watch.

Anyway, gaming videos have been getting quite popular, especially with indie games, over the past couple of years, so I thought it'd be a good question to ask.

Markiplier, Cryaotic, and MangaMinx are the three I watch regularly.

I like Markiplier the most, I think. Mainly because he's one of the most down-to-earth youtubers I've ever seen.

Nowadays I have no idea who's who in the youtube gaming world.

When I was younger, I used to watch a couple of smaller LPers, because the commentary was very funny and it was good for background noise as I drew or played videogames.

Nowadays I feel that the commentary quality has gone downhill for everyone. 100000% done with videos of people screaming at jumpscares. -_-

I hate watching game play. I'd rather just play.

I occasionally watch video guides but that's it.

I like to watch PewDiePie, sometimes Smosh Games, I used to watch Markiplier but I usually watch Minecaft YouTubers. (Yes, judge me if you want, but I'm a proud Minecraft nerd.)

Markiplier, ManlyBadassHero, Tobiscus, TJ Smith and Jontron, though Jontron's the only one on that list who isn't really a "let's player" though xD

The only "Let's player" I watch is Brainscratch Comms. Maybe an SGB once in a while.

But I also enjoy watching Somecallmejohnny, Peanut Butter Gamer, The Compltionist, and several others.

Yeah, I agree with you there. I used to watch captainsparkelz for his minecraft series as well as other minecraft players such as skydoesminecraft, but then it dawned on me 'what's the fun in watchin other people play games when you can play them yourself?' Now the only gaming channels I watch are either
    A. Pokemon
    B. Yogscast Zoey
    C. Game Theorists
    D. Minecraft buliding channels eg. Madnes64, jamziboy etc.
There are disadvantages as I don't get introduced to many differant games, but I am more than happy with smash bros, prof. Layton, pokemon, metroid (Im playing a metroid fusion emulator on my pc at the moment, first time I got caught by SA-X I screamed. Scariest thing ever), zelda, minecraft and dont starve. Most of the time when it comes to me and youtube gaming I watch reviews of zelda and metroid and GameTheorists.

  20. Cryaotic, CinnamonToastKen, Mangaminx, Yamimash, UberHaxorNova, and Pewdiepie are fun to watch together. Those four are like the first LPers I saw. I still watch them every now and then but they're still entertaining.

Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and Captainsparklez have been ones I've just been watching lately.

I heard of Yogcast, Achievement Hunter, and PeanutButterGamer but I never got around to watching them.

The rest I never heard of sadly. Just need to check them out in the future.

I usually just watch them since all I see around stores is just Call of Duty everywhere, and the other games just seem to be there to fill shelves in stores. Unfortunately, I felt cheated out of money when I bought a game long ago. So watching gaming videos seemed like a perfect alternative.
