LGBT News Connor Franta on Coming Out.

That was beautiful! I'd never heard of him before tbh, but it's still great, and reading the comments, 99% of them were supportive. Still 1% below acceptable, but a great step forward nonetheless. Hopefully his video will inspire other people to come out.

 

I genuinely never thought he was gay, and even after watching the video yesterday, still find it hard to believe. Really happy for him though, takes so much guts, especially for someone in his position. His story is completely relatable as well.

 

To me that seemed very genuine. It actually made me kind of freak out inside. Needless to say, I love him for it

 

He has to my knowledge not come out! That's too bad:/ but he might not be gay?

Seriously, I did not even realize he was still in the closet. That is hilarious. I assumed he was out and proud.

 

Never heard of him(or half the people referred to in this thread, heh) but, judging by the posts, he seems to have quite the fans so that can only be good(?). Kudos.

 

Something told me when i first watched one of his videos he might be at least bi. But then i let it go thinking he really wasn't, come to find out hes gay made me soooo happy for him. When he left O2L I knew something was really bothering him. If this was it then Im glad Connor can finally be himself to everyone, it kills me not to be able to do the same. Congrats Connor you said it best, nobody deserves to feel that way for so long, but you've ended it and become your true self.

 

Don't know who he is, but more power to him.

 

yeah he just said that he grew up with a family of sisters and so he's not afraid to show his feminine side.

 

I felt a whole wave of emotions when I first found out. He's amazingly cute and I've seen a handful of his videos before. Believe it or not, I actually didn't suspect it. The thought actually hadn't even crossed my mind, as much as I can remember. I'm really glad that he could come out on the internet without fear. That takes a lot of courage, and I respect him so much for doing it. It's great that he could let his fanbase in on the sexual part of his life now. I hope that any negative comments he's getting don't bother him too much.

So proud of him, I nearly cried when he started crying. I always thought he was gay, at least I can now say I must have some kind of "gaydar".

 

I literally almost cried pathetically when I finished watching that video. I found myself just staring into his beautiful eyes the entire freaking time xD

 

His video definitely brought up a lot of emotions-I was very impressed at how honest and brave he was. Good on him

I've been subscribed to him for a long time and it made me so proud and happy that he felt he could be himself! Many tears were shed when I watched the video.
