Ranting thread. It is always so wonderful to meet a goal. One of my goals for 2014 was to have at least one local friend before Holiday Season. And now that the Christmas season is upon us (the traditional season, that is, not the extended one that begins at some stores in August or before), I'm truly displeased to announce that I still have zero local friends. :tears: Evidently my one modest goal of the year was asking just too much. I know, of course, there is nothing I can do except accept this is what it is. And either keep trying to meet new people, or just give up completely, and accept that I'll never have any friends...
Don't give up! It's super difficult for me to make new friends too! I've lived here since March and haven't met one person outside of work, local or not! Just keep trying, some one will come around.
