I can see several things on this list as violent, but the whole thing of banning certain acts in a video that everyone knows not to look at if they get easily offended is bizarre. Is the reasoning behind this is so they don't want their citizens replicating these acts? It's probably going to make them seek out higher thrills in person instead of porn. I can see major things to ban, such as child pornography, but everything else that isn't extremely disturbing should be fair game to leave alone.

My views on this can be summed up as: yes there needs to be more restrictions on porn, however, I feel that the only porn that should be banned is child porn and porn that includes non consensual acts (and that includes acts where the guy 'persuaded' her to participate) especially those that sensationalise and/or encourage it. I mean BSDM is banned but that's ok as long as it's consensual.

Also, how the hell are you supposed to censor the INTERNET. Seriously.

Stupid people stupid people. Duh duh duh. It's probably because 147/650 people are women and men want what men want.

 

I wouldn't be so sure its just the men voting this way, or that a 50/50 gender split would have avoided this. Women in politics can and sometimes do act as bizarrely as their male counterparts.

Last year we had a female MP criticising calls to ban rape stimulation pornography (surely not great for women, and worse than anything else on the list) on the basis that its a common female fantasy and what women want. And we've had female MPs in the past siding with predatory pedophiles allowing them to voice their desires to make child/adult sexual relationships legal.
