    I'll admit I'm afraid of seeing my friend again after I turned our last meeting into an impromptu therapy session. I wonder if she thinks less of me as a person now.

    I questioned whether this was too 'real' to bring up, but I might as well go there tonight.

    Honesty Hour:

    Unless the topic is in relation to the LGBTQ community, I would truly love for the discussion of race, religion, or ethnicity on this site to fade. I am tired of reading posts from the same members who preach about how people need to respect Christianity then proceed to bash Islam. I am tired of reading posts speaking on the issues of specific races and ethnicities, yet were not created by members of those races and ethnicities and largely consist of people who wish to speak for them anyway. I am tired of the topics about political correctness, "ethnic sensitivity", and privilege. I have no idea why they are on the rise, but they have become progressively less conducive of mutual understandings than ever. At this point, I only every post in them because of things that were said within those threads rather than because I was interested in discussing them again.

    I cannot believe the hateful commentary on Bruce Jenner after reading a article on the interview and how stupid I was to read it. Jeez some people need to seriously grow up.

    I always notice this every Saturday.

    Im only 3 months old here in EC but I can say that there are still lots of active members in EC. Tho lots of them are as new as me.

    I feel a combination of things at the moment:

    Lovesick for this girl, which is causing me to miss her a lot.
    Demotivated because it's getting to that time of year and I'm sick of school and want a holiday despite it only having just been half term two weeks ago.
    Insecure because I need a job and haven't got one yet.

    Think I'm just generally a bit tired. I wish I could go on holiday. Even though I was only just abroad over half term. Sigh.
