Im so lazy...

And I want to talk to her but she's with her friends...

 

We get that sometimes, pretty much used to it now if it's not too close by. Several years of late night freight trains, occasional building/roadworks, police helicopter sweeps and local residents who think beer is the elixir of life and are rather keen to let everyone else know it, and you get used to sleeping through it mostly. That said, I am currently awake and (other than the music in my headphones) it is quiet. Ironic.

 

So much more confidence lately but, at the same time it doesn't change how lost I feel.

 

This convention is so much fun. Now if only I had a friend to come with me that wasn't a total jerk.

 

My internet is so slow, EC is the only website that will load :/

 

My hair is at it's awkward stage, looks big and makes my face look like a girl... I like big hair on others, but it certainly doesn't suit me at the moment.

Anyways, putting it back in a ponytail (unless I'm in makeup) until it's long enough to not make me look hideous.

Also this sounds ridiculous coming from me, but I miss having a Skype friend.

The only person I can talk to who shares some of my interests is my mom.

 

It's times like this where you realize who cared about you all along, and who never did. I'm super-grateful for every person who's been there for me right now.

Oh, and I don't give a shit about turning 22 soon, not while my dad is still in the hospital and hasn't woken up.

It's been a fucking rough 2 weeks and 2 days.

 

I can't post what im thinking...i might get banned for excessive profanity, and im no stranger to the art of cursing.

 

Really need to get rid of this damn daylight savings time thing. Bleh.

I'm conflicted...

Do I feel ashamed for doing something I shouldn't have, or do I cherish the victory that it brought?

It's hard to want to choose the former, when it nets you an interview. I have been trying to get some kind of job at the local newspaper, for almost a year, and it was moving too slowly. But then I write a piece "reviewing" their paper, they suddenly want to give me an interview.

And this is why life is so frustrating for me, at times. It sprinkles positivity, if any at all, when I 'play by the rules', but when I take a ruthlessly persistent approach, it showers me in glory.

Monday morning can't come soon enough. I'd really like to have this extra job.

My family got taco Bell for lunch, and I couldn't have any because my doctor put me on a low salt diet.

 

Aw yeah that stinks, but it's worth it at the end because high salt diets contribute to hypertension, which, if left uncontrolled, can lead to organ damage, which is not good.
