Got the drinks ready for tonight. I'm going to try and not get too drunk though - last New Year I came home at 3am, went into my mother's bedroom and started singing. She was pretty pissed.

 

I work 3-9 tonight but then I can celebrate the New Year in style! And so happy I have the first off!

 

I really need a better squad for Aliens: Colonial Marines (X-Box 360)...

... these randoms really aren't helping.

In real life, sticking together and watching each other's backs, yeah, that'd be ideal. However, the winning objective is to destroy some eggs -- which you do, by standing near them for a few seconds. Not alongside me!

I've got the damn aliens, but I can't shoot and blow up alien eggs at the same time!

If I try to take out the eggs myself, my squad is totally incompetent with watching my back. Basically, a swarm of aliens get through. If I become the God damn Berlin Wall, my squad is wanting to share in the glory, leaving nobody to take care of the primary mission.

I need Xenomorph professionals, not glory-hungry hounds!

id like to post something on instagram saying "IM BISEXUAL" in big letters, or something to that extent, but i feel like it would get me in big trouble with parents or something, and cause drama, and i dont want to cause any drama. I just want to tell people and get it over with. I mean sure, straight people dont have to come out, but they also dont have to hide their sexuality.

Whilst I was out 'n' about it the cold, I had to wait for something. So whilst I was waiting I stopped for a hot dog. And a hot chocolate.

Was still bloody freezing.




Additional: Having to get essential stuff done on new years eve when everything shuts early is no fun.

Additional additional: fleece lined leggings are only a useful winter idea if they actually let your legs move when you're wearing them. I'm pretty sure my hips will be feeling stiff for days.
