Why did I pick up a fork instead of a spoon this morning? It would be more challenging to eat honey loops with that.

I rarely lose things. I keep important items in designated locations. With that said, I somehow managed to lose an EDC that almost never leaves my pocket. I bought another one.

Understanding how something works and applying said knowledge to achieve a certain result. It's quite a good concept in theory but in practice it can be quite difficult to achieve. If we understand this then is it not reasonable to assume that we can be excused about not being able to operate in a certain way if we have no knowledge of what is expected of us? Does the responsibility of informing ourselves of the workings on said concept, fall to us or to those who expect us to operate in a specific manner and produce results based on what they expect?

Given the above statement, who do we appoint for the purpose of distinguishing the balance between what is acceptable and what is not. Is this person's own view on the situation not influencing their decision? Should they in turn also be governed by someone with a deeper knowledge?

Boy that's always a great headline to read in the Sunday newspaper.

"Children scared and residents upset after Mickey Mouse statue beheaded by vandals."

A deconstructed Urban Fantasy web comic set 10 years in the future?
That's what I'm planning at the moment. I have too many ideas and I don't really have the patience to finish any of them!

I want to do some exercise.
I want to learn some self-defence stuff.
    Why not martial arts?
    Specifically, Taekwondo.
I mean, looking at the Theory of Power on Wikipedia, as flawed as Newtonian physics is, it still looks damn interesting.
Plus, there's a Taekwondo club at the top of my road.
If it's ITF-style, with the sine wave thing
    As that looks most interesting.
    Problems include:
    Weight
    Age
    Self-esteem issues
    Social anxiety

Yeah... My boyfriend's aunt and uncle think it's sick and wrong that he's dating someone like me... Because I'm so much worse than my boyfrkend's cheating and lying ex for being trans, right? They haven't even met me and they think I'm some kind of freak show. What's worse is that my boyfriend's sister was the one who outed me to them and I think it was the former FTM roommate who outed me to her.

I messed myself up badly... Oh well, starting from tomorrow, never again! I need to get back on track. I mean, in the span of a month so much stuff has happened, it's... unbelievable how low I've sunk.

Oh, right... /thread - I question why some people chose to not answer at all, instead of just straight out saying that they don't want to speak to you. When random people do it it's fine, when friends do it it hurts, but when it's someone who does this as a pseudo job, it's just weird...

Just went to Goodwill. Found a brand new Lenox Holiday coffee mug for 99 cents. Had to have it.

Congratulations to whoever guessed page 6 for the "when would SemiCharmedLife first use the word 'plethora' in his dissertation proposal?" pool

Men, why do you have to be so pretty when I can't love you?
