    I wish i had the mental capacity needed to be able to act as a pillar to all my friends, to be there for them when they need me, to be able to devote more time to them, to not have problems of my own to get in the way.

    My friend apparently got a full ride for grad school, except the program is in Sydney. He seems ecstatic, except I'm being selfish because I don't want him to leave, although it wouldn't be too difficult to visit him. Bleh. At least that won't be until some time next year, if he agrees, but now I really feel like kicking myself for developing feelings for him. <__<

    I had that for most of the last term that just ended. I only really got 5-6 hours of sleep for three weeks so I could study, and by the end of it I felt I had no control over my left eyelid. :lol:

    I totally understand that feeling. (*hug*) Don't be critical of yourself for developing feelings, unfortunately we don't have control over these things, only whether or not we express them and how. With that in mind, I'd think about whether or not to have a conversation. Specifically reflecting on if you'll regret not saying anything more than doing so before he leaves.

    I unexpectedly was given a new laptop at work today - i7, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD. I'm pretty happy about the specs, but most of all I'm glad that the display will work with two monitors attached so I have an extra screen. I'm totally using that for Netflix, HBO GO, and Slingbox. :slight_smile:
