Assuming you even get annoyed, that is. Basically, how do you handle being annoyed? Do you ignore what is annoying you, or do you speak up? Do you try to avoid instances, of where you know you'll be annoyed? And, for a bonus, what annoys you? And Black Raven, I swear, if you come in here and say, "All these questions!", I'll... I'll... probably just hug you. LOL.
Let me just come in here and say: "All these questions!" . I'm sure everybody will agree that I couldn't post anything else, with Kaiser leaving herself open to it like that, really.
Not very well. I completely blew up at someone this morning. I mean, they were asking for it, because they're a fucking turd, but I could have handled the situation better. I just started cursing them out. I had clenched fists though, which is kind of scary. I didn't want to hit him, but boy, was I pissed.
Given that I had masses of experience of it today... I get angry, bottle it up, and get cold. As for what annoys me... train drivers who close the doors as they knowingly watch me try to get on the train, and giggling teens.
I'm always annoyed, and i handle it by repressing it. Everything annoys me. In fact, this whole idea of random questions in this part of the forum, annoys me as well. I realize you want to ramp up post counts, but don't you think, Kaiser, that these threads are more akin to the fun and games section? I am certainly not the one who decides this, but i am using this as an example of how easily i can get annoyed. In the end, it's irrelevant.
I just wind up ignoring the person and not speaking to them for some time or never again, depending on whom it is. I really need to learn how to not let small things get to me so much, but I'm getting better at it, ladies and gentlemen, I swear
I just walk away to my room. I listen to music and be antisocial until it all calms down its the easiest way. If the person is annoying you deliberately, just don't react at all dont look at them, no facial expressions, no emotions. They're looking for a reaction and they'll just get bored if they don't get one. Remember, just remove yourself from the stressful situation.
I listen to some music to calm myself down or go outside for fresh air, as I get pretty angry when I get annoyed lol XD
(Even though I don't believe in god) I try to remember this when I'm annoyed: The Serenity Prayer God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
I'm not sure if I never get annoyed or if I'm just too stoic for anyone to notice. So I suppose that's how I handle it; passive-ness.
Badly? I can't. Nope. I just become anti social. Want to scream. Etc. Feel horrible. Get angry at people. As for what annoys me? People asking me random questions for no reason at all. It's like, people will ask an innocent question and suddenly I feel like the entire world is crashing down on me and ugh. I get so pissy with them.
i don't deal with being annoyed. i'm either going to exit the situation or light off like an $80 firework, depending on the day.
--> If I can get away from the thing/person that's annoying me, I will. --> If I can get away, but don't want to leave, I'll suck it up. I'll probably try to put an end to the thing that's annoying me, or at least try to lessen it's effect on me. --> If I can't get away, I'll try to bear the annoyance for as long as I can before I say something. Nothing on Earth annoys me more than small obnoxious children. The way they cry and scream. The way they bicker at one another over every little thing. The way they hang and tug on you. Ugh. I can't. :bang:
i would buy all your beers tonight just for saying that. i fucking hate kids. they're annoying, they shit themselves, you wipe their ass, feed them, they cry over everything. and newborns look like aliens. nope. no thanks.
Not well. And that can be bad b. Because I get pissed when people repeat them selfs or tell me things I already know.
I usually speak up. What I say, depends on the situation, and how merciful I'm feeling, at the time. Lucky people get an apology and I might even try to calm them down. Unlucky people get a shouting match and sometimes I enjoy this. Avoiding situations isn't always the best option because dealing with annoyances can build up resistance. It's usually certain types of people that annoy me.
