This, hated the ending I mean if anyone could've defeated Light it should have been L.. not Near. Grr. Also I like Future Diary, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, Attack on Titan, Madoka Magica, FMA, Sword Art Online up until Kirito won the first game, Deadman Wonderland and there are probably a lot more I'm missing..
Oh dude I do too <3 Akame and Esdeath (even though she is a psycho killer) and hell Najenda is hot too :G ahaha  ---------- Post added 4th Nov 2014 at 09:21 PM ---------- Definitely should have been L tbh I didn't like Nate very much in the first place.
Yus, anime!! It's really rare that I find an anime I don't like. That said, my favorites are probably Attack on Titan, Durarara, and Death Note.
Gintama for the win!!!!! Kyubei's hot... I started off in my Otaku-ness.a fair few years back when I was into samurai and feudal Japan. I watched a few ghibli films before I became a fully fledged Otaku such as Laputa, Grave of the fireflies and Nausicaa (person l faviroute). In year seven I became freinds with a half japenese girl, and I started watching Naruto because I was bored one day. After that she told me about Gintama which is amazing, then I started watching attack on titan, and I recently started SAO Forgot to add that I recently finished watching Hetalia.
I watch a lot of anime; anything from OHSHC to FMA. I've seen quite a fair bit, and am more than willing to have long debates about characters and storylines
I loved SNK and i wish they would make a second season, also what is the anime your avatar is from? Is it the girl from sasameki koto? Or is it another? I definitely know her but I can't tell whether it's Sumika or the girl from the other anime I'm thinking of were she's the really tall one with the short ginger friend and they go to different schools and she fell in love with her cousin and stuff and they see each other on a train and stuff. Dammit I can't remember the name and it's gonna bug me. :bang:
My sister's boyfriend introduced me to Studio Ghibli, and I've been a fan ever since. I'm trying to ease into the anime world with some Fullmetal Alchemist. Then I'll watch the OVAs, read the manga, then watch Brotherhood.
Yup, you got it right, that's Sumika The other anime you're refering to I'm guessing is Aoi Hana, pretty cool too but doesn't even compare to Sasameki Koto imo
I'm a huge fan of anime, I've been watching anime since I was 4! Starting with Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors My favorites are mostly anime series I watched as a kid, like... Ranma 1/2 Gundam Wing Outlaw Star The Slayers Cowboy Bebop Sailor Moon GTO Tenchi Muyo Yu Yu Hakusho Digimon Revolutionary Girl Utena And Cardcaptor Sakura! But I watch a lot of modern anime too that I adore like Hunter X Hunter (2011) One Piece Toriko Kill La Kill Black Lagoon And Attack On Titan Soooo yeah! You could say I'm a fan :3
Sailor Moon. I know a lot of hardcore fans hate the English dub but it's the one I grew up with, and now it's the 20th anniversary, I'm obsessing again. So much new merchandise. I wish they would release the English one on dvd. I also liked Cardcaptors and Pokemon though I'm not as into them anymore.
Yeah I thought it was Sumika, I loved that anime it was hella cute and also Ushio was like omg <3 so cute :3 and yeah you're right it is Aoi Hana, I thought that one was super cute too even if it wasn't as idk full of things as Sasameki Koto. Damn its been a while since I've watched those, I think I'm gonna watch them again ---------- Post added 5th Nov 2014 at 08:12 PM ---------- Also am I the only person here who hasn't seen Sailor Moon? I haven't seen it and everyone talks about it. I feel like I need to watch it, but I've read reviews that say it's overrated as hell.
I've been following a bit of Manga and Anime lately. Realizing that's it has been pretty heavily Shonen lately. Been watching Sword Art mostly, although P4GA finished a few weeks back. Been reading Attack on Titan (the story just keeps getting weirder after the TV series' end), Claymore, Nisekoi, and Bleach (bit of a guilty pleasure, want to see how it finally ends and been waiting on Viz's translations). Death Note was fun, although I think Bakuman was a bit more refreshing (keeping up tension without a real antagonist for 20 volumes? What?). Hmm, I think I've been reading more manga than seeing anime the last few years. Easier to do in bits maybe. I've been watching Crystal, and honestly can't stand Usagi as a character.
I used to be more into anime than I am now, but I still love it. My favorites are: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Code Geass Kuroko no Basket Shiki Clannad Baccano!
Not Otaku here at all, or even a big anime fan for that matter, but Ghost in the Shell is one of my favorite tv series and movies of all time. Also, Ghibli nut right here. Trying to find more adult anime (no, not hentai you fool!) that can give me a real braingasm. I like to be pleasured by intense and intricate storylines and dynamic characters. Also, Akira for the fudgebucketing win.
