My voice is a little bit on the 'camp' and nasal side and I don't like to hear it.

I'm overly fond if mine, since I think it's a little too feminine.

But I'm mostly comfortable with it.

I don't hate it but I don't like it either. People have commented that I have a nice reading voice, but I disagree. I wish it wasn't quite so high pitched. There are times when I speak in a lower register, and that I actually like. If I could learn to do that all the time someday, that'd be nice.

I don't hate it, but I do dislike it. When I record my voice and listen to it, it annoys me. It's low, raspy and I don't enunciate well. Most of the time, people are always asking me to repeat myself, which gets a bit frustrating.

I don't hate my voice, yes I can't sing but I think it does sound nice when I try. At least people claim that after hearing me talk.

I'm 18, and I sound like a grumpy 30 year old, take that as you will.

From what I heard of the "Voices of EC" thread, you all had lovely voices.

My voice is... ok, but like most people I don't like listening to it back when it's recorded.

No. I like my voice, it's pretty deep for not being on T, and I really love my singing voice.

However, I still sound like a 12 year old boy, and as I get older this will bother me more. However since it is naturally deepening, perhaps I will have a fairly masculine voice by then

When I was a kid I hated my voice because I thought it sounded too deep like a boy's. I can also be pretty monotone. I have learned how to inject more emotion over time, at least. I've kind of just come to accept it at this point and don't really care anymore.

Oh GOD yes. I think it sounds too nasally and stereotypically nerdy

I used to hate my voice because it took so long for it to deepen. I was 16 and still being mistaken for a girl on the phone. I'm content with my voice now, although it certainly could stand to be deeper :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I've also been made fun of for sounding nasally before, so that's not great...

I hate my voice sometimes, and I wish it was a little deeper. But it really isn't too bad. It's kind of a unisex voice so I can decide how I want to sound. It could be better but it could be soo much worse.

This right here is how I feel about mine. I actually kinda like it when I'm paying attention to myself talking, but listening to my voice when it's played back in a video or something... :eusa_hand Don't even go there.

Must still be something wrong with some though because I tend to ask people to imitate my voice and it's a little different than what I feel I hear. Hmm...

I don't enjoy hearing my own voice (too high pitched).

No, I don't. I wish it was a little lower so I could sing without having to go up an octave, but it's not a big deal. My accent is also pretty neutral, which I attribute to listening to Indian/British English from my parents and growing up in suburban Oklahoma. I do remember trying to avoid the "gay lisp" or sounding "girlish", but I'm not sure how effective that is.
