I don't really watch the show lmao. It was meant to be a joke but I guess I'm being too subtle about it. I really like Santino on project runway though. He made season 2 entertaining with his Tim Gunn impression.

I think if you call yourself manly you aren't many.

I don't even know manly is. I find most straight guys to be more "femaleesque" than me, but I would never consider myself manly.

My personality is just me, I like to joke around, can rough house, enjoy being outside, don't care about fashion at all, and love nature/animals. I also am really emotional, and sensitive, and care about people a lot. So it's hard to define.

Everyone assumes I'm straight though, I don't really give off a gay vibe, don't know if htat counts as "manly" though.

My exex boyfriend thought that I was bisexual because I was so "not typically gay", he even thought that maybe I was afraid of girls and was choosing guys so I wouldn't get rejected.

But maybe it s that the typical male personal traits like hard-headed, decisive, outright are more into males and females tend to be more emotional and wavering? Is that true or only stereotypes?

If I like wear (privately) feminine clothes like stockings and high heels does it mean I am not manly?

Interesting to see what everyone considers a manly attribute. I'm not having a dig at anyone, but I do find it all rather fake.

You can kick or run with a ball, swig beer and get drunk, pump iron, race cars, shoot guns, conquer mountains, shave your head... but does any of that really make you a man? You can do all of that and more to try to demonstrate masculinity, but it means nothing if you are all weak and fragile inside and can't face issues or responsibilities in life and I'm afraid that is so often the case. Behind the manly facade is a rather weak and vulnerable character who needs a lot of love, care and support.

I think we place too much emphasis on the physical attributes and not enough on the emotional/character attributes.

    Just my opinion.
