So I took the SAT for the first time and I got a 2160 Lol I suddenly feel smarter. I didn't really like it though, and I dont really want to take it again. How did the SAT turn out for you folks?
I already took it, seven years ago . I remember mostly the ACT. I think I got a 28 composite score, and that was with me bombing the science section (with a 21 I think). Interestingly, I actually "minored" in premed and did reasonably well in college-level science courses. Take that, ACT .
I think I took the SAT in the last year they still used the 1600 system (just reading and math, no writing). I believe I ended up with a 1330. It's too bad there was no writing section as I earned a 78/80 on the PSAT in that area.
That's only a few hundred points off perfect, you know that? o.0 I didn't count the writing portion in my score as I was told colleges don't care about that (it's only 25 minutes and total garbage really) but without it I got 1260, and that was 6 years ago. Good enough to get me into UCF at least. I didn't end up attending, but I was satisfied. And that was before I was half decent at math too.
Goodness! Smarty Pants! lol I took it in or around 2012... I got like a 1610, I think... It was mind draining, I didn't take it again because of that lol
I took the ACT and got a 31 composite, with perfect in reading and a 35 in science. I bombed the math section though:lol:. I took the PSAT and was in the 99th percentile for everything. No idea what that means about my overall score though:lol:
Took it twice in high school. First time got a 2130. Second time got a 2280. I did not like the ACT as much and didn't even reference it on my applications. But I did tutor my friend in the SAT and helped him improve his score by 300 points
I've taken the SAT twice. The second time I got a 2020 which I was fine with. But I preferred the ACT. I thought it was a lot easier and I got a 32 composite which I am proud of.
I did SATS several years ago and got highest possible marks. I feel like that's something slightly different though.
OP, that's a GREAT score! Congrats. I took it on the 1600 scale. I got a good score ... back then. Had I only studied. Meh. It would have been a waste. The schools I was looking at didn't require any more than what I got, so it worked out.
And here I thought I could compete in college admissions with my 1980! Oddly enough, not only did I the same score on each section (660), but I also scored lower the second time I took the exam. Could I just "borrow" your SAT scores, Bubblemonger? I promise I'll give them back!
Never took the ACT or SAT. I could have, back in high school, but I was discouraged from doing so, so, not caring really at the time, I did not. I have no idea what I would score, if I did take it. I did take, when I attended community college, the COMPASS Test, which is basically, a free introduction test, to get into college and see where you fall, in terms of advancement. On that, I scored high enough, to be considered for advanced introduction courses, but declined and went the average courses.
I took the PSAT twice and I didn't think it was so bad, but then I took the SAT in May and that was awful. Of course, I didn't do as well as I wanted to and now I have to re-take it -_-
i got a dumb shit score and it didn't mean anything and now i'm a dumb shit person, it was a waste of a saturday morning
Took many SAT practice tests. My highest score was 1760. Haven't taken the real deal yet, but I'll take it in January. I'd rather take the ACT. It's more practical since it's like a high school final. The SAT doesn't exactly summarize our high school education. I took an ACT practice test and got a 29.
