Let's just say, I spend inordinate amounts of time just staring up at my ceiling at night.

For all of you people having hard time to sleep I have the solution:
    1) dont fixate thinking about things that require you to logically think of solutions. what I do is either "daydream" or think about hugging my imaginary bf
    2) white noise. or PINK NOISE as a better term. put this and maybe some soft song with no words in the background as well.

Thats how I became from 1-hour-to-sleep to less-than-thirty-minutes-to-sleep guy (!)

Depends.. I tend to go to sleep when I'm quite tired, then I usually fall asleep quickly. But sometimes, I am not really tired (or not tired at all) and it's 0:30 for instance, then I can't fall asleep easily. Takes me over an hour sometimes. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

About ten minutes. I wake up at 5:30 or 6:00 (and 7:00 on the weekends), so by the time I go to bed at 11 or 12, I'm rather tired.

Unpredictable. I have had insomnia for some years now, so I can't know if I will be asleep after thirty minutes or if I would sleep at all. But most of the time, it takes thirty minutes to 1h30, sometimes more.

It's take me a while because I'm usually not sleepy, when I am sleepy I literally just pass out immediately....
and then enter REM ridiculously fast, have a jump-scare nightmare and wake up ten minutes after falling asleep.

    Depends.

If I'm flat out exhausted, about 3-5 minutes.

If I've had an average day, about 10-15 minutes.

If I've had a rough day, I may not get to sleep; and if I do, it can take 1-2 hours.

But even with those estimates, it really depends on how I feel. If my body is not tired, then I am not going to go to sleep, at least not easily. I don't have a normal sleep clock, because it always changes for when I am tired.

If I meditate, while laying in bed, then I ,usually, fall asleep. However, it might take 30 minutes -- but, you know, better 30 minutes than 1-2 hours. The only drawback to this is, if I use meditation to sleep, then I am going to sleep harder and deeper, than usual. This means, if I am woken up before I naturally do, I am going to feel groggy and exhausted. But if I manage to sleep, it is the best sleep I can get.

Usually less than 30 minutes. Unless there are plans for me go somewhere the next day. Then I end up thinking about every possible social interaction and their results, which means it takes much longer to fall asleep.

Just a few minutes especially when I'm tired.
