6 years. I was so far in denial that I managed to suppress it. I only spent a month questioning once I stopped suppressing it.

I came out immediately once I was sure. First to my parents, then I used facetime to tell my best friend. I cried and her reaction was "That's it?". My parents thought I was joking at first but they're accepting. It didn't blindside them completely.

Ok, it took me like 2 weeks once I was sure, but in my defense I was married to my best friend. :roflmao:

Hmm...if I'm not mistaken I'd say it took 6 months to a year.

I am still not fully out, but I think 2 years till I felt really ready to have that conversation with my mum, even though she probably by that point already had an idea.

From when I first had an idea, about 3 years.
From when I was sure, about 5 months or something, I wouldn't reccomend it though!

Like 2-3 years. I came out to my best friend at the time and she was not very good at keeping the secret, but she was caring and accepting.

For a first friend I think after 4-5 months. But before that there was denial, so sum it up, about a year. When you meet a new person, you come out, so it can last your whole life. In my case it sure will.

I'm still not out and I've been aware of my attraction to women for about 8 years now. The only people who knew were other lgbt people that I met. I don't live in a gay friendly environment and my family is homophobic, so I can't come out to them. If I had any good friends, I'd probably come out to them by now.

I took a class in grade 8 that taught us about Lesbians and Gays. I immediately came out, being unaware of Bisexuality at the time and no one really said anything. After school ended, I switched schools and again, I was fairly open about it. Long story short, it didn't turn out well and I went back into the closet, denying ever coming out, focused on men but a few years later, I came out to everyone.

I was in denial till last year.
Told my close friends but no one else.
Took about a full week to tell my friends.
    Family doesn't know.

Questioning for a long time, found the right label due to EC in May this year.

Came out in October this year, a few months ago. =]
