It can be unhealthy (in some cases even deadly) for the performers. As for the viewers, it depends on how they go about it.
I think it is potentially unhealthy for the people in the videos, particularly the ones not using condoms. It is also rather repetitive in story line and the ending.
As someone who has a porn addiction it's hard to see the signs of addiction at first until you realized you can't get turned on without porn and your over watching it .
Anything in excess can be a bad thing. If you're getting all your ideas on sex and relationships from it, then yeah, obviously it's going to have unhealthy consequences. Same thing for if it's becoming a problem in your life, stopping you from functioning in society. Then you have things like abuse, diseases, etc. on the side of the workers, which most viewers either don't know or care about.
Videos? I find them boring. I turn into a film critic. Who are these people? Why are they screwing? The worst thing of all is they treat each other like props, and that makes me feel violently ill. Also, somebody has to be a REALLY good actor to fool me. I'll watch a horror movie if I want to see something unrealistic and ridiculous. At least then there might be a decent plot. I'm attuned to noticing false emotions and false reactions. I can't enjoy TV soaps because even that looks fake to me. I know the difference between crocodile tears and legit crying. The former is annoying because you kind of like it but it's just not the same. I'm blessed with a dark and twisted imagination. I'd rather read non-fiction books with violent things. I can work out much more playful ways to implement otherwise deadly things. My fantasies are dark and my actions are light. It's basically the difference between barysadism and leptosadism, but nobody uses those terms anymore. I think it's okay for people to watch some porn. Just remember you're feeding that sexual appetite with junk food. You deserve to give yourself more fun overall instead of always seeking the quick fix. I wonder if some people simply have no time in the modern stressful life and getting off is more of a chore? You should be fine if you can still create a fantasy without the aid of porn and get off to that.
People can watch whatever they want, and I doubt it will hurt them if they use it reasonably, but personally I feel uncomfortable watching anything but feminist porn.
Uninterested. I don't get the appeal of it at all but, as has been stated numerous times, it can obviously be unhealthy, like too much of near anything.
porn is alright but it can get addictive & sometimes it sends the wrong signals about safe sex and STD'S
It's lethal in long term. Short term use may make you blind. Nah, just kidding. As long as it does not interfere with your life, it's alright. PS: porn is not representative of real life sex. ---------- Post added 16th Sep 2014 at 04:55 PM ---------- In your opinion, what is the healthiest type of porn?
