Either the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, or the bombing of pearl harbor during WWII.

You seem to know a lot about the beginnings of the universe. It's fascinating stuff.

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely watch the video when I've got a spare 90 minutes. Stephen Hawking is brilliant...he's easy to understand, even for a dunce like me!!

Aye. It makes any human conflict seem utterly stupid.

Lesbos is a Greek island famous in antiquity. One of its natives, Sappho, was a celebrated poet whose relationships with women gave lesbianism its current name. Up to the 19th century, calling a woman "sapphic" was an understood reference to her sexuality, until the replacement of the word by modern terms.

As it so happens, it's almost certain that Sappho was bisexual or pansexual. She wrote of men and women in similarly sexual/romantic terms.

And I assume that she means hash in the same way you're thinking.

...Pretty sure that one of their kids killed the other one. At least, according to the story. I don't think a god would make gay people that close to the beginning.

If I'm being honest, I'd like to see the reaction to Pearl Harbor. It was the 9/11 of 1941, and was a very large part of history for all that the attack itself wasn't significant in magnitude. The information from that period is woefully inadequate compared to 9/11, and I'd like to figure out what the process in the civilian part of the US did towards the government. I doubt I'd change anything, because now is as good as it ever gets (so many things could go wrong the second-fiftieth times you do it, so never change "for the better") but observation is key to understanding. I'd also like to open the world's eyes at the time to the true similarities between people. I mean, Germany, Japan, and America all had some form of concentration camps, and they were either enemies or on the opposite side of the planet.

The day where creationists argue is the beginning of the Earth. I would film it. And then I'd show people what really happened.

    ---------- Post added 5th Sep 2014 at 07:43 AM ----------

Of course, it'd probably be cried out to be fake, and nobody would believe I actually went to that date. So perhaps it might not be worthwhile in the beginning.
