I wonder if I would be more powerful if I could detach myself from my emotions

 

I blocked my mother's number. She's too toxic to maintain contact with. I'm tired of her guilting me and berating me and tearing me down. I've never once, not in recent memory, felt safe, loved, or respected by her. There's no use trying to get through to her. She's a black hole.

What kills me is that she has my sisters and it'll be a long time before I'll be able to see them again... I wish she didn't have custody of them. They deserve so much better than her.

 

I blocked the "News" channels from my TV, I'm sick and tired of the fear mongering.

 

Kids can be little Arseholes.. Picking my mum up from work and she works in a library which has a car park and a little shit about 11 or 12 maybe decided he would sit on his bike really close to the automatic garage door and as it was closing, he moved the handle bar and the front wheel to the right and stopped the garage door from going down and be broke it.. My mum and her boss finished at 7pm only to then have to stay back to deal with the broken garage door.. Some kids have no respect these days and just don't care what they do... He did it deliberately too.. I hope they make his parents pay for the damage.
