Hello everyone! I am new to using forums such as this one, but thought this would be a great way to get some advice on an issue that I'm having. I posted my thread, but am still waiting on someone to reply. I noticed that some other posts that were posted around the same time as mine were getting a lot more views. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
Nope, sometimes it just takes a while for people to respond. Any questions in particular? Welcome to EC!
Hey, welcome to EC! Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. Also, please be warned that if you do choose to sit in the front row you may get wet. Enjoy the ride
Welcome! Generally, you will get more/faster responses by posting in the appropriate subforum, making the text readable (huge blocks with no paragraphs or writing in a stream-of-consciousness style are often very difficult to follow), explaining relevant background info so others don't have to guess, and giving some clear, simple questions on what advice you want. The thread title itself should also be descriptive. Even then, it can take a while before some replies trickle in, which will always be fewer than the number of views, and sometimes it's the topic itself that is a barrier to a large number of responses.
It took me three tries with the same thread to get people to respond. But at any rate, welcome! And I hope things get better!
