My town's quite small, we don't even have any lgbt societies near where I live.

No I live in the second largest "metro" area of Arkansas and they don't have a parade here. Little Rock (largest) and Fayetteville (3rd largest) do. This year I attended the parade in Fayetteville which is about an hour drive from my house.

May I ask why you say you wouldn't go again?

Nope. But they do fly rainbow flags when one of the other major Belgian cities have one!

Which I then usually notice sometimes in the evening, when it's too late to go to said other cities xD

My county does - it used to be held in my town but they switched it over to the main city a few years back as there seems to be more of a 'market' for it there. It's not a particularly big Pride though (think my county is generally lacking in LGBT population), so I also go to Bristol Pride when I can as that's a relatively large Pride (although presumably not compared to Brighton, London, Manchester, etc - I hope to go to these as well sometime!)

Yup! It's been a couple years since I've been, but it's a lot of fun. I would love to go to one of the bigger parades.

In a city in South-east Asia, it's not really a big topic here. Very religious and traditional people. But where i'm living, the Gay Pride events are slowly getting bigger. So there's no doubt there will be Gay Pride Parades in the near future (at least not in the downtown area). But it's still a long way to go...

We don't, but Liverpool across the river has a day of pride every year.

Yes, surprisingly! It actually lasts a whole week in June and many businesses get involved.

Which I've always found so strange cause where I live is a very small city full of cowboys and Mormons.

    Gotta love Canada.

I think I heard somewhere that half a million people came to our pride parade this year. I've never been, but I've heard it's crazy and filled with people.

It goes right by my house, so I guess I'm technically part of it.

Depending on people's views on me, there is either 1 or 0 gay people in our town. Some say I am cause I like guys, while I view myself as a straight female. But other than me, there's nobody.

Not my specific city, but there are two pride events in Detroit itself and another nearby suburb.
