Well there was the sort of threeway relationship between April and her two "gay boyfriends" on Parks and Rec--but that wasn't portrayed in a very positive light. For humor's sake, it wasn't meant to be. In the end, April ditches them because they were just being negative and trashing people all the time--and she of course has a thing for Andy. I don't think they were trying to reflect negatively on all gay or bi people or anything (assuming that at least one of the guys was really bi).

Also on Portlandia, Carrie Brownstein (who is actually openly bi) had a threeway relationship between her, another girl, and Fred Armisen... Done for humor's sake, but only because they all realized how awkward it became, not because there was any negative connotation of bisexuality.

Yeah, I am nearly done with Season 1 of Queer as Folk. No bisexual or transgendered characters. We don't exist.

The L Word (from HBO 2004-2009) Really great female characters…and lordy I have such a crush on Kate Moennig! I like the show because it's intelligent. Yeah

For some reason I don't normally like TV shows that are blatantly about homosexuality. They just kinda overdo it to me. Like I HATED The L Word and Orange is the New Black. The only exception for me is Queer as Folk, which is frickin gem. I really like Orphan Black, The Fosters, and Buffy which all have queer characters in it. I absolutely love Skins, and Faking It is actually adorable.

Transparent. I've only seen like 5 episodes so far, and has at least 3 LGBT main characters. I think I also heard Syd and Ali are bisexual (which I guess makes sense because Carrie Brownstein, who plays Syd, is bisexual), making it 5, with one transgender character, three bisexual characters, and one lesbian character.

Also Portlandia, with like 4 bisexual characters, and then Candace and Toni, who I'm not really sure about.

While it's not a LGBT show, my favorite show, Orphan Black, does have a prominent lesbian character in Cosima. She is probably my favorite female character on TV right now.

And the gay (male) character on the show is neutered, like is always the case with gay (male) characters on tv. The gay (male) character never get a love interest.

In the Flesh! It's a British drama about a rehabilitated zombie's struggle to fit back into his local community, and it is fantastic. The main character Kieren is gay, and there's a really sweet romantic subplot between him and this other zombie in the second season.

Should warn you though, they cancelled it after two seasons. :tears:

Sense8, Netflix original, amazing series with a great storyline that isn't focused solely around LGBT but includes it well with a gay guy and a transwoman in a lesbian relationship both as main characters. Really recommend watching it.

Do the shows just need LGBT characters in them to qualify as "LGBT Shows?" In that case:

    - Game of Thrones
    - South Park
    - Archer
    - Rick and Morty

...And that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

The 100. The main character is bisexual and she is shown in a positive light.
