Last Tango in Halifax. Sarah Lancashire and Nina Sosanya have a gorgeous lesbian relationship in this, with lots of twists. My fave show ever

Although it only lasted 2 seasons (not including the final episode of them) Naomi and Emily from Skins UK are adorable together  There are 2 more LGBT characters there though.

Started watching Lost Girl yesterday. Seems like a very interesting series so far. I love shows with a supernatural twist. Thanks to the person who suggested it.

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, if that counts as LGBT TV show.
Also Skins has some gay characters that I really liked (Maxxie <3 ); damn it I must see that Teen Wolf! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Brothers and Sisters is so good! but so addictive. the family drama is ridiculously addictive haha. but yeah I really agree about the acceptance portrayal--it's also not the front and center definition of those characters so they seem more "real" or relatable! and Scotty is adorable and super good looking, just sayin

The UK version of Skins (the original) included a lesbian couple too.

Féminin/Féminin is a webserie from Quebec about a group of lesbians.

Yup, I'm still watching Skins so didn't get to the part where those girls got together, but friend of mine spoiled it a little for me so I'm aware of that information. I wasn't aware that there was different version of Skins, I thought that there was only one version and that's the UK.

Considering the lesbian to gay (male) ratio of tv shows is about 10:1 I don't have much to choose from. I mostly watch gay (male) storylines.

My favorite right now is probably Hit The Floor with Jude and Zero.

Good for you: the US one wasn't as good as the UK one and only lasted a short season. Oh and sorry if I spoiled anything to anyone, I'm not very good with the "spoiler alert" thingy...

The bridge (US version) has a lesbian character too.

Honestly couldn't love In The Flesh more its great representation and has a great story line about discrimination and such, really touching and is now one of my favourite shows.
Another obviously mentioned one is skins, love Emily and Naomi!

But honestly people need to watch In The Flesh , it's a great show that isn't getting enough love, they mightn't be bringing a 3rd series!

Has anyone mentioned The Office? Not really in itself a strictly LGBT sorta show (but it is hilarious) but one of the main characters is gay and he has a few continual story lines. Really, it'd just a show I love anyway. I've always related to Pam's character most.

Lost girl has some girl/girl ships/ hookups. Two main characters are female and it's fun urban fantasy. The first season is kinda cheesy but it gets better. There's also Orphan black, one of the clones is a lesbian and it's just an amazing show all around.

I'm surprised nobody has said Glee yet...I mean, it's such an obvious choice.

Second: Supernatural. Dean and Cas were never officially confirmed in a relationship, but everyone believes that they are.
