    Would it make any difference if the couch was a leather couch? I.e. the leather may stick to the skin causing the perineum/pelvic floor muscles to stretch, and then get damaged during orgasm when the muscles contract?

    I think if you were barely sitting on say, the couch or bed, then it might be fine. I don't think it should be that much of a problem, to be quite honest.
