Anybody here with Social Anxiety Disorder?

    I have Social Anxiety Disorder. I was diagnosed with it last year. Does anybody else here have it?

    My friend isn't officially diagnosed, but he has it pretty minor. He's overcoming it pretty well though. As I've told him: "we'll overcome it together"

    I've never been diagnosed but I'm pretty sure I have it because I have really bad social anxiety. As soon as I can afford it I want to go to a therapist to get diagnosed

    Actually, mine might be Avoidant Personality Disorder, but as it stands, I've been diagnosed with social anxiety and clinical depression.

    I've been officially diagnosed, but I'm better than I have been in the past.
    I got it from being severely bullied all throughout high school.
    I have comorbid depression, to make things even worse.
    Oh well, doesn't help with finding a girlfriend, that's for sure.

    Yes, I have the same disorder that my grandmother has. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain, m both excessively anxious. we both are on medication as well.

    YES, I have generalized anxiety disorder after being bullied from 7th-12th grade. My great great grandmother had severe mania that is still exhibited in milder forms throughout my family. My mania has been over getting HIV and being a hypochondriac in general.

    I wouldn't say I have an actual disorder but I feel very uncomfortable in large crowds. I immediately shut down and don't talk. I'm trying to get over it.
