I'm just wondering if it would be against the EC Code of conduct to share "Friend Codes" for gaming consoles like 3DS or Wii U etc... for online gaming purposes? e.g. MK8, MK7, Pokemon etc... Anyone know? I've never online gamed before, but am thinking of starting.
I imagine it would be as it's a means of contacting a member offsite but you can always apply for Full Member status and send PMs to members for said usernames/Friend Codes etc.
Aye, for security purposes, members can't publicly share any means of offsite contact, including online gamertags, friend codes, etc. I wish there were a safe way to do it too because gaming with members of EC would be awesome, but it's too problematic. Just apply for Full Member and then share via PM with the folks you want to play with.
As others have already said, the only legit way to do this would be to share the information via PM when you are a full member. I've played some online games with EC peeps before, and it is pretty fun .
come and beat the mods in street fighter with me someday ^^ As a fair warning if any of you guys have the same username on PSN or XBL as you do on the forums then you wanna get it changed before giving it out on here. Cause it's actually against the rules here to use a name somebody could look up somewhere else and find you. even if you just give it out in private
Well it usually takes a while with no responses. I became a full member almost three months after I first applied, but it may take less time for you. I think the mods were just busy at the time i first applied!
whaaaa-- You can share your game-IDs with each other via. PM if you're a full member? Guys, I need a moment alone... [SCREAMS IN THE DISTANCE]
I would love to do that! Maybe we can have like couple days in a week meetings in game? A PC game maybe ? And whom I need to PM ? ^_^
