    Heavy metal and punk. Examples: Rage Against The Machine, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Drowning pool, and Marylin Manson and who knows how many others.

    I feel sort of ashamed and weird to admit this, but...classical and opera. I love Chopin, Debussy, Brahms, Mozart, and Beethoven; I'm trying to expand that though. I don't know if I'm a true opera fan since I like Jackie Evancho and Charlotte Church, who are considered crossover artists; Pavorotti. Ah...Pavorotti...his voice just speaks to my soul, it makes me feel weightless and free and pure. I love cello/piano pieces the best. My all-time favorite is Chopin's Piano Concerto #1-the larghetto-and it literally sounds the way falling in love should feel; I've been playing it on repeat this whole summer-and all because it reminds me of her:slight_smile:
    Anyone else like classical/opera? Some suggestions would be great.

    one time My Mum was yelling at my sister for something idk, while Edith Piaf (Non je ne regrette rien) was playing with my earphones on full blast.. Honestly it was a sight to see, I cracked up laughing then got a shoe thrown at me

    Also listen to a lot of bands like Disturbed, Mastodon, Dying Fetus, Behemoth, and I listen to a lot of Viet and Jap stuff. Go figure, I like listening to music in my own language.

    I'm also huge into classical as well as a few other genres. primary favourites are Mahler and the romantics/nationalists as well as American composers from 1920-60, like Creston, Diamond,Copland,Harris and Schuman. It is tough to find others in the LGBT community who like to talk music and have so much in common, even tougher to date anyone.
