i'll be the swing vote here :lol: i have watched porn, i have liked it for it's turn on factors, but i also like erotic fiction, the pictures in my head when i read are as good or better than someone elses vision since i tend to think in pictures, maybe because my brain is wired a little differently than most.

Damn, I'm surprised so many people here don't watch porn or don't like it. It seems to be something almost everyone enjoys. I only watched it for the first time about 3 months ago and at first I didn't get the appeal but now I use it when I'm feeling lazy and don't feel like using my brain to fantasize. Porn is meant to be visually enticing, regardless of sexuality. If I'm in the mood for a good story, erotica works, but then, so do non-porn television dramas and racy pictures, so it depends. I've tried reading Yaoi a few times, but ended up skipping the sappy stories and getting straight to the "action". The artwork is enjoyable, but reminds me of how few people resemble manga/anime/video game characters...

Yeah, pretty much. My problem with enjoying porn doesn't have to do with it having no story (since I don't care for story if I'm horny at the time haha), but more so the fact that the visuals are terrible. Almost every woman in porn is physically unattractive, plastic fake bodies, huge tits, etc. The noises are absolutely ear-wrenching to the point I have no idea how men can look at straight/lesbian porn with the volume on. What a huge turn-off! But that's how the porn industry works, it caters to fantasy not "realism". Ironically, if porn was more realistic I'd find it more arousing (and you can still have realism without a story). I'm also mainly agreeing with Isthisaname on this one. The only porn I do like and enjoy is male solo or gay porn. Not because I'm attracted to men (I'm not) but because it feels more realistic and the noises you hear are more natural. Male solo especially since It's mostly every day dudes uploaded selfies. Gay porn can be more of a 50/50 thing, but It's still way more realistic than the lesbian garbage you see. *shudders at the thought* Unfortunately, my problem is that I've seen 'everything' in regards to those things which is why it does nothing for me anymore.
