Um.... I purposefully did my nails in purple (bisexuality) ... not sure if anybody will get it, considering purple is my favorite colour anyway.

I could start writing the LGBT book I was planning. But I'm a terrible writer whatever the sexuality/gender etc. of the characters, and I'd rather not make a book on the basis of diversity for it to be rubbish. It needs to be good for the description and story plot first. I think I've got some good points, but it's character's way of thinking I have trouble writing. I mean, I did write a book with two bisexual and one gay character in that I've been planning for the past eight years. Sexuality is not mentioned and relationships are probably going to be third to the plot when I'm finished. It's okay, in the way I've finished my first draft, and I think the idea's good but no where near finished.

I don't really have anything, though I was thinking of getting some pansexual pride stuff....

I have these awesome rainbow socks but now that I'm back home (and still in the closet here) I don't think I'll have many chances to wear them.

I thought about getting a paracord band or a woven trans pride/rainbow watch strap when I hit up Pride this year. Probably have pins around my house. Thought about getting a pride shirt but I'd feel weird wearing it outside of pride (dunno why).

Lol I almost forgot it was June. Summer came so fast. I'm gonna wear a rainbow necklace and a bi/pan bracelet that I designed and made...and I'm probably gonna come out to some people, including my (girl) crush. Wish me luck!

Same thing I wear every damn month. Although I may wear my tank tops this months. It's gonna be hot as hell. But, given all the rain lately, that might change. Yay for Texas weather :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I don't have anything too nice yet since I'm still in the closet to most and the extremely judgmental public here. I don't plan on going out much so maybe I'll draw a rainbow heart on my left arm at least, I think it'd be cute. :icon_wink

I have the first bit of my bangs dyed teal and purple. I have a hair appointment scheduled so I might see about dying them in the flag colours.

I think I'll wear something subtle that's rainbow colored, like a bracelet.

Was at a Pride event last weekend and bought a rainbow loom (?) bracelet from a GSA university group. I've been wearing everyday, but as an anklet.

I sadly have no pride wear, although I might get a pride necklace next time I go shopping. I do, however, own a handmade rainbow tye-dye t-shirt, lots of colorful shorts, and two shirts with rainbow puzzle pieces for the other rainbow that comprises me (autism).

For June in general...Just what I'd wear any other month - Jeans & a tshirt.
If I go to pride...same thing. Even if I wanted to wear it, I don't have any rainbow/pride-ish stuff.

I have a rainbow ring but I still don't manage to wear it, even around those I am out to. I don't know why. It's making me very angry. Won't go to pride either because my graduation is taking too much time and I don't want to go alone.

Nothing about pride. It's kind of dumb. There aren't any straight pride months. What is the purpose of announcing to people that you're gay?

Okay. The reasons that pride is a good, helpful thing:

    1) We LGBT(QIAP etc.) people (which includes you, confu) generally like meeting people we have this in common with once in a while. This helps create a sense of community, which can also help the mental health of Queer people.

    2) Pride helps to show the world that we exist, and that we deserve rights too. We can't just sit by with no representation.

    3) People don't need straight pride because there is no one out there trying to take rights away from straight people. Meanwhile, Queer people suffer from a lack of rights. There are no super religious people who say that people should be killed with stones because they are straight. (Yes, there are still people in this world who seem to think that gay people should be killed with stones. Our world is kind of awful sometimes.)

Straight people have every other day of the year. (and 98% of the TV channels)

Sometimes it's nice to not be a minority, to walk into a crowd where you won't be yelled at for kissing your spouse or holding hands. That is, until the fundamentalists decide 95% or so isn't enough for them. I might be one of those "tame/boring" ones who doesn't even drink but a little fun is still nice every now and then too. I sort of feel like a freak when I'm the only one who isn't straight in pretty much the whole town.

It's also pretty much a big middle finger to the jerks who crave supremacy. That's my favorite part.

Here's a good example: (Gets interesting around 6:00)
