When you have a name like Dexter you get related to the movie character, hitch isn't a bad thing

I like my name, Greg. My father was named it as well, but I'm not a Jr. because I actually have a middle name

nah I really hate my given name for trans reasons, but Alaina is a pretty cool name for a girl I suppose

I much prefer going by Andy and have felt a lot more confident since the switch

I just looked at the definition of my middle name, Manuel, and it means God is with us and I find it to be beautiful, thanks mom for that!!

My first name, even though I said it didn't have a meaning, it looks like it does. My first name is Willy and the meaning is resolute protector which is nice too!!! All names that begin with Will mean this.

Don't ask me about last names, mine are very unique, atleast from where I live.

My name is Rhiannon. It's okay. I don't love it. But it could be worse.

I'm not the biggest fan of it, but sometimes I think the only reason I think that way is because it's my name. I know other people with the same name (my girlfriend actually almost has the same name as me) and I think it sounds so nice, but then I hear myself being addressed and I think "Why does that have to be my name?"
It's not that the name doesn't sound right on me--I'd say I look like a "Claire". I remember when I was younger I used to think about changing it, but I couldn't think of one that fit better.
One reason I've come up with is that it might be because it sounds like a portmanteau of "clown" and "hair" and yeah, I have "clown hair". It's a curly mess, and I love it that way, but I don't like to think of myself as a clown.
One of my friends, who I used to have a crush on, thinks my name sounds "badass", and I don't quite understand why, but I'll take it.
Anyway, that was probably a longer response than you were asking for, so I'll stop talking now.

Edit: I say I'll stop talking and then I add more anyway.

My name is Aaron, and I never used to like it. I was going to be called Joshua, but they plumped for Aaron in the end. No idea why. My middle name is Joshua, and my mum says I should start calling myself by my middle name like she does, but it's a little weird, since my first name is already established.

But anyway, I'm okay with it now.. I guess. I still prefer Joshua.. probably because most Joshua's I've known are pretty hot.

Also, Aaron is apparently a chav name, and teachers don't like it.

I used to dislike it but I've grown quite fond of it, it's Ashley which the only reasons I hated it was the popularity, the stereotype that sometimes goes along with it (In movies and such) and the fact I was named after a soap opera character.

People have still found ways to give me nicknames.
They're not shorter versions of the name though, they're weird things like "Clabby Patty" or "Cleedle" (sometimes "CLEEDLE LEEDLE LEEDLE LEE") or "Cler" ("it's the lazy way to say your name because you don't have to open your mouth as much") and I could go on, but I won't because I literally have over twenty nicknames.

I like it. It's a little too common, but it's still a decent name. Just what is that name, you ask?

I think name Ruth doesn't fit me that well... but, I can't complain, it's pretty good. My mother wanted to name me Diana (I adore this name) but, she didn't because her cousin was Diana, ugh...

I like the name I gave myself. It means defender of humanity. As for the other - I'll not speak it as long as I live, other than to refer to someone of that name.
