England - Italy has been very good so far.

Yep! It's been interesting. I probably shouldn't say this, seeing that I'm half Italian, but I like the way England came back and equalized the score.

Only England manage to injure their PHYSIO.... *facepalm*

Been a great game. Perfect response from England after going down. I don't really feel like they deserved to go 0-1 down, Italy had only been on top for around that 3 mins of the game.

The game between England and Italy is getting better as the minutes go by. I like the risks that both teams are taking. The quality of the game is just great.

Italy are usually the masters at defending a lead, so I'm really surprised that the game is so open. I just hope that England can take one of their chances.

Wayne Rooney has been dismal, apart from that assist. We could do with a bit of Rickie Lambert.

Usually (I suppose) they do. Although in South Africa, Italy failed to move forward and their group was one of the easier one. Not sure what happened there.

I liked the game though because it wasn't one team dominating, which made it interesting to watch.

It was a good game but I feel really disappointed with the result. England can never beat the "better" sides (Germany, Italy etc). Rooney should have scored that chance and the defending could have been a bit better with the Italian goals but oh well, we lost to a good Italian side. Stirling and Pirlo were class.

We are going to struggle against Uruguay and Costa Rica, they will be very tough. I personally cant see us getting out of the group now but I hope im wrong.

am not gutted really we looked dangerous going forward thought the Italy defense looked scared . the only problem I had was roo not getting forward enough . still think we can progress from this defeat .

Yeah, I'm also feeling pretty confident after that performance. Costa Rica defeating Uruguay has done us a big favour and I think we can beat both of those teams. We need to keep playing attacking football and Sturridge and Sterling are going to be crucial.

    ItalydefeatedEngland! Woo--Hoo!

(I'm part Sicilian, and very much a fan of Italian food, literature, style and wine, and very proud of that part of my heritage. Plus, we look more attractive than most nationalities

Honduras are one dirty team. Looking forward to seeing Argentina play later (even though I dont want the Argies to win the world cup), even if that means going to bed late and being tired for work tomorrow. Football comes first in my life.

Gosh, I'd never realised just how small Mathieu Valbuena was until they lined-up tonight!

Are Honduras aware they're supposed to be playing football? Because they play like they're actually UFC fighters.

As for the final outcome, I'm thinking Brazil. Not only that, it's on their turf, seeing that they're playing games in different Brazilian cities, including Manuas. Manaus? Seriously. From what I've read about that city on or near the Amazon, it scares me on different levels.

I'd like to see the cup go to one of about three European countries, but I'm not counting on anything. I'll probably watch toward the end, as is the case with other types of playoffs.
